Once barbs plundered all my trade routes in two turns. I went from making a healthy extra income to selling temples. I learned to keep an eye on the trade routes the hard way.
Finland is well enough represented as a part of the Swedish Empire. There's two oddities though.
The city list. It makes no sense that Helsinki is so high up in the city list since it was just a small fishing hamlet during the Swedish rule. Turku was the center of power in Finland during that...

God of Destruction
Pillaging improvements, razing cities and using nuclear weapons creates :c5faith:
and maybe some more viable ones:
Sacred Lakes
+1 :c5food: and :c5faith: from Lake tiles
Spirits of the Swamp
Marsh tiles yield +1 :c5faith: and units may move through them as...
Rammy has a very unfriendly and irritating AI personality. He is like a bit less capable version of Alexander who tries to make up for it by being more annoying. I wouldn't mind him as much but he's a PITA with the way denouncements. He's also pretty good at medieval warfare because naseruphants...
I'd like to see some kind of option for creating unhappiness in the target empire.
Some sort of extended surveilance option would be nice. Reveal tiles within range of 4 or so within the city.
Maybe some options avaible only if you're at war with the enemy civ. Like revealing where their...
Brazil can probably manage to get some of the culture wonders on King unless they start in an absolutely dismal spot. For some reason the AI is not very fond of Sistine Chapel. Broadway is also often avaible and it's quite easy and usefull to beeline for. Uffizi and Globe Theatre are more...
I don't really see that happening. Maybe with a proper horde of them against a city in the open. We both know that 6 ranged attacks per turn without the Warriors having any chance to respond to fire is going to annihilate them and fast.
Ikanda promotions mostly even the odds against the...
Japan: Itskushima Shrine
Polynesia: Nan Madol or Puʻukoholā Heiau
Huns probably didn't build all that much. I mean Firaxis couldn't even come up with city names for them.
I've always wanted to see Italy in a civ game.
Kingdom of Italy
UA: Cultural Heritage: Great Works and Artifacts yield +1 :tourism:. Landmarks yield 50% more :c5culture:.
UU: Bersaglieri: Replaces Great War Infantry. +10% combat strenght on hills, ignores movement cost on hills and can move...
They're mining rocks for buildings. :)
The :c5production: are just a very big abstraction. I would like to see some extra resources but I don't know if I want to go back to the Civ III/IV style where almost every unit needed some kind of strategic resource and you were royally screwed if you...
Aesthetics has one of my favorite faith-buyable GPs since you get three different ones and buying one of them doesn't increase the faith cost of the other two. Chaining Great Artist golden ages is also very nice. Especialy if you're playing Brazil. :mischief:
Losing population on city conquest is beneficial unless you're running with enormous excess happiness. If I'm fighting a war I sure don't want to take some 10 or 20 or 30 pop city and take a huge happiness hit for forever.
Unless Honor gets a significant reduction in unhappiness from puppets...
Hyper-runaway Iroquis were sending threats to me for half of the game for doing some innocent warmongering and buying up all the city states. It wasn't really the fact that they were so dominant but the fact that Hiawatha was telling me how I suck every 5 turns.
I Gunboat diplomacy'd his CS...
If I have built sistine Chapel and opened Aesthetics I try to use the bonus to generate a second renaissance era artist for the slot if it looks like I can't generate another one in time. It's even more usefull if you happen to be able to get both Uffizi and Sistine Chapel since there is a real...
