She, if you don't mind awfully. Also, thank you to everyone who voted for me! I appreciate it very much. Anyway, the mechanic will be BARGAINING FOR WAR AND PEACE. This consists of making the AI fight each other, and occasionally even making them stop, via diplomatic means, and gaining...

Civ 5 Design Challenge II - Mechanics

Voting for Natan's Yuan! It's an interesting Civ that fits the design very well and emphasizes both internal trade AND active engagement with other Civilizations, which is a tricky balance to walk. Good show, old spot, you've come a hell of a long way. EDIT: Almost forgot the most important...

Slight problem with these - you don't appear to be able to name them. Which is a bit of an issue for me, as my designs thread made extensive use of the feature, but I understand it's hardly top priority.

    Civ 5 Design Challenge IV - History/Eras

Yeah, you're probably right. I've edited it to +1 of the listed yields. The Gold one's probably the most valuable, since Workshops and Windmills cost 2 Maintenance, while Factories, Hydro Plants, Nuclear Plants, and Solar Plants cost 3. It does incentivise going wide, but that has some problems...

Er, I know this is hardly at the top of your list of priorities, but in my thread here, six key posts - specifically, ones where I split my Civ designs up by continent that really need to be on the first page - have been spread out over pages 2 and 3 of the thread. I think this is because they...

Rumours of my death were... pretty accurate, actually. I've really not had my head in the game for the past few months. I guess that with the release of Civ 6, a game that the small charred turnip balanced on my stomach pretending to be a laptop has nary a snowball's chance in a blast furnace of...
