After lurking around a few posts here on the forums, I have begun to wonder about the distribution of players who mostly (with few exceptions) play only single player Civ 4/5, and players who mostly (with few exceptions) play only multi-player Civ 4/5. Without further ado, feel free to enjoy...
I was just wondering if anyone else was going to see sunrise creep up on them on launch day? I plan on pulling an all night game session myself, preferably while chatting with some Civ buddies and sharing the fun. What about you folks?
*I have got to start checking the spelling on my Thread Titles*
I ran across a video I saw last year on YouTube that made me think of the Purity Affinity Factions which might upset Supremacy Affinity Factions. What do you folks think?

Thinking on a light and fun note, I was wondering what kind of musical performances might be popular with the three Affinities in Civ:BE? Here are my thoughts, and I would love to hear what you folks think as well. (Note:I like all these types of music so I am not trying to start an argument...
I stumbled across a video discussing Civ:BE from the atypical perspective of a young Civilization Fan. It was nice to hear a young player talk about the game, enjoy.

I was musing about Sci-Fi tropes that could be included in Civ:BE and I began to wonder if Time Travel could be somehow abstracted? I am at a loss to suggest how this could be done or how it would play out. As such I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on how it might be done. However, I also...
Has anyone else noticed that none of the Firaxis Livestreams have shown Wide Empires? We see only 2-3 Cities, and it makes me wonder if they are just playing on Small Maps or if Wide isn't as feasible in BE as it is in Civ 5. What do you folks think?
I am putting together a playlist of Spy Songs to play when playing ARC. Tell me what you folks think of my choices and feel free to offer your own suggestions so I can add them. Warning for my list: I am almost 40, so some of these are older songs :)
Peter Gunn Theme from Spyhunter Trigger...
Is anyone else thinking about quickly producing Military to welcome Newly Landed AI's with an attack? Or do you folks think that Capitols will be too tough/regenerate damage too fast for this to be a viable strategy?
Given some of the new information we have at our disposal, has anyone changed their mind recently about the Sponsor in which they are most interested? I am still thinking that ARC will be my go-to-folks, but I recently added PAC to the top of my list as well.
I know it is a very long shot and maybe even impossible, but I would love to see a Pre-Lauch Let's Play of Civ:BE. It just might convince a few more people that their fears about Bad AI or Civ:BE being a Civ 5 Re-Skin may not be realized. What do you folks think?
What kind of Sci-Fi Cameos/Easter Eggs would everyone enjoy in BE? For myself I would love to find a Little Blue Police Box (TARDIS) on the Map only to have is dematerialize after I spotted it. Likewise I would have a laugh if I saw a Siege Worm roll past me and swear I saw a Human on a Black...
Every few games on Emperor+ I run across an AI that spams out as many as 10 Cities by Turn 150. In my last game it was the Zulu, and I was luckily their lifelong pal. However, it was still scary to be surrounded by so many Impis. Was there a way to put a check on Settler Spam short of a DoW on...
Would anyone else like to see Cosmetic Leader Customization in some form in Civ:BE? I think it would be particularly fun in MP to see something besides Koslov Clones for example :)
Would anyone else enjoy the following Diplomacy Idea? Prior to a DoW from a Faction which owes you Favors, the AI Leader pops up to Threaten a DoW which you can prevent by cashing some or all of them in?
As a person studying Media Sociology, I have recently become curious as to how many people that play Civilization games are Non-Male? I say Non-Male instead of Female to include anyone who identifies their Gender as Non-Male.
Given the increasing inclusion of (for example) Female Leaders over...
Apparently Civ:BE Pre-Orders are available for a short time at only $37.50! (link below)
