    Civilization 6 Tier List 1.0

I think Norway might have potential for Norway to colonize all the unclaimed areas where no AI spawned. I just found a large area like that, including an undiscovered city state, at turn 200 on a pangea map. Too late to colonize, I've already discovered rocketry, but Norway could claim that...

thoughts on civ vi from old-timers

Civ VI is a beautiful game with interesting systems, but no challenge because the AI is poor, predictable, and passive. I'd love to get my hands on the source code to improve the AI.

    Civilization 6 Tier List 1.0

How much is Spain's combat bonus against other religions? A permanent combat bonus sounds nice.

    Building Builders

I don't build many before feudalism (and the +2 build actions policy), but then I try to improve every tile ASAP. Unless I'm playing China, then I build several to rush wonders.

Does Civ 6 have the potential to surpass Civ 4?

I like 1UPT, it's a shame the AI can't handle it and multiplayer takes so long.

Deity Players, How Many Victories Have You Achieved So Far?

I one once, a science victory around turn 280, then went back to emperor. Just trying to launch before turn 200 without exploits. (Getting closer...) Deity has too many units and I get tired of slogging through the hordes, and even in massive numbers with combat bonuses they still don't pose a...

Does Civ 6 have the potential to surpass Civ 4?

While that's technically true, being superior to the Civ AI is not much of an accomplishment.

What to do after Political philosophy?

Has anyone determined for sure that the cost of the techs/civics doesn't matter?

What to do after Political philosophy?

But if you're beelining expensive techs, you might not actually have that many science techs even with massive science.

Exploring the potential for ICS in civ6

Yeah I don't like it either. With 15 cities to micromanage (and needing to reassign projects and spies every few turns), space victories are micro hell and far too tedious to finish.

Exploring the potential for ICS in civ6

You'd probably have to be Germany for this to work. For anyone else, the cities would be limited to size 4 (2 base + granaries), and thus 2 districts, for a long time. Neighborhoods and sewers are near the end of the civics tree. (Farms might be a solution but there's not a lot of land to be...

Does Civ VI have city governors like in Civ IV/III/II etc?

I don't think so. As far as I know, Civ VI doesn't even have build queues. It's even more tedious than Civ V, with projects, traders, and spies that you have to reassign every few turns.

Few Tips I picked up online

The movie, but not the corporate logos. Which is foolish - being forced to watch those logos only makes me hate the brand.

Are the production costs too high overall?

Factories and power plants both have the area bonus.

Help Me Not Ruin this Cleopatra Start

Looks like a good move, you gained a 2/3 deer in forested grassland hills, and a 4 food rice. That's such an incredible city site, it makes me want to try a OCC.

Should they eliminate the production district, lower production, raise science?

And in multiplayer, industrial districts probably aren't that useful. They're a huge investment in something that will take time to pay off. And until they do pay off, you're behind in both army size and technology, and a skilled invader will take your cities and thank you for the factories...

Help Me Not Ruin this Cleopatra Start

This is interesting to experiment with. I tried it and didn't get the same start; don't know if that's because the map settings were different or because I just loaded in a different location. What map size and type was this?

Should they eliminate the production district, lower production, raise science?

You don't, actually. There are several great scientists who can provide most of the hammers.
