    Does anyone use Fisheries?

By the time they're available I feel I don't need to grow my cities any longer as they have the 2-3 districts that actually matter towards my victory. So: no.

    AI offering peace too easily

I appreciate your insight, but I don't think specific details are needed when these too-easy-and-favourable peace deals happen every game and all the time. If I'm not attacking an AI city and probably couldn't capture one anyway, I shouldn't be getting, like, 50 gold per turn from the AI in a...

    AI offering peace too easily

I've been getting back into this game after a break and wanted to complain. Situation one: AI has declared war on me and has advanced units closing in on my ancient walls cities and a few weaker units. The AI could easily capture a few of my cities simply by attacking them head on. Instead they...

    Appeal is irrelevant

Yeah, it's irrelevant. Whether I get a +4 or +6 neighborhood, doesn't really matter, I already have all the districts I want in there, don't need the population to build more districts. Plus now with the +4 housing from Governors, neighborhoods have become much less important anyway. The only...

[R&F] The Next Expansion will re-work the Government Plaza and Governors, right?

I think both the Plaza and the Governors are rather half-baked ideas that don't add much anything interesting into the game - apart from their loyalty bonuses perhaps. If they work on them, great, but they'd have to change these so much to make them interesting to me that I don't think it's...

What single thing annoys you most about Civ VI?

This is broad, but late-game dullness would be my answer. Battleships are so much in the human player's favour that I've more or less stopped using them.

    Next expansion?

Yes, maybe with the introduction of Loyalty they should have introduced the AI occasionally razing cities as well. That's basically the thing to do if you capture a city you won't be able to keep. Sometimes I see the AI settling a completely moronic city that starts instantly flipping and...

    Next expansion?

Military force should have a greater effect on Loyalty, yes, but on the other hand it might become too easy to keep your cities loyal through brute force. I think I prefer that there's a fair chance of flipping cities peacefully rather than military force guaranteeing that cities never flip...

    Next expansion?

The options provided by Governors and the Plaza are too obvious to make them feel like actually meaningful decisions. With the Plaza, the extra housing from Governors and the Spy thing are clearly the best, imo. I feel like the Gov Plaza is a "let's get this done and over with now" thing in all...

    Next expansion?

I don't mind if Firaxis take their time over another expansion if it's more hit than miss. In RnF loyalty is a hit, imo, but the more I play with Governors and the Gov Plaza the more I wish they weren't really in the game. Don't want another expansion if it just scrapes the barrel of ideas.

Whats your standard Barracks to Stables ratio?

I agree that the faster experience bonus is underwhelming for the cost of building an encampment + its buildings. I usually only build an encampment or two if I have nothing better to do.

    CIV 6 AI

The AI is still the biggest hinderance the game has, but if you can get the game on sale I'd say go for it, it can still be fun.

[R&F] Everything that is wrong about the AI obsession with capturing CS in two images

There are too many factors involved for this game's AI to be able to act sensibly on this CS matter. Diplomacy and loyalty concerns go out of the window when the AI decides whether or not attack a CS.

    [R&F] Governor's breaking my immersion

I think Governors are a sign of how it's becoming increasingly difficult to add good stuff to the game. I'm not exactly against the Governors, but I don't feel they're really needed, either. Kinda gimmicky.

    [R&F] Government Plaza

The more I play, the more underwhelming the Gov Plaza feels. The choices are kinda boring. Like the era dedications, the Gov Plaza tier choices feel like they were planned in a rush.

    Difficulty

I like this idea. Correctly implemented it should be much better than the current curve where early stages are very difficult and then difficulty steadily declines from there.

    Difficulty

Yes, the big AI bonuses at higher levels distort the game. AI civs are always ahead in the beginning (and, for instance, have an immense advantage towards getting a religion, getting a religion on Immortal and Deity is too hard, imo, too much up to chance), but the player can overtake the AI...

    I miss Civ5's city-state quests.

Yeeeeeeah, one of the last things that need tweaking in this game.

    Apostle promotions

I wouldn't call Debater the best. You only need a few of them if going for religious victory and much more of those that give 3x spread strength, extra spreads and 75% elimination of other religions. Medic is theoretically very good, a medic for military units with 4 movement. The problem there...

Are coastal cities actually less defensible?

Yes, the caravel's strength against unwalled cities in those "early caravel times" is a bit out of hand. You have to be mindful about it and try to have a crossbow in the city if it is on dangerous coast.
