    Quick Questions and Answers

This has probably been asked many times, but I can't find it anywhere... All of my opponents are set to "random civilization" selected under advanced setup, but EVERY game it's always the same 7 opponents I have to face (I'm playing as France)... What's going on!?

[CIV 5 Issues] - The complete list

So the Egyptians built the UN with 27,000 gold saved up... but evidently were going for a different victory condition... AWESOME :badcomp:

[CIV 5 Issues] - The complete list

If a computer builds the UN and has 27,000 gold, you would expect it to buy city states. When it doesn't buy city states, that IS a bug.

[CIV 5 Issues] - The complete list

Egypt (Computer) just let my sister win a diplomatic victory when it not only built the UN but had 27,000 gold in the bank 1 turn before the vote VS her being 10-15 techs behind with only 3,000 gold... So annoying.

So does it make sense to beeline to this policy?

    1000 reasons why you're disappointed

LOL, out of your 40+ posts, 90% of them are bashing Civ 5... Your initial 5 or so posts were bashing Civ 4, the best of which went something along the lines of... "Civ 4 sucks, just see if I waste money/time on Civ 5". Looks like the joke's on you :goodjob:

    First Emporer Game

Instead of making a valuable citizen a scientist early in the game, adjust your luxury slider as needed. Giving up one gpt to have half of your population back in the fields is a good choice.

    Ultimate Challenge

This seems like a very interesting scenario. I think it should be tested on a small map however. That way there will not be a tedious expansion process through the ADs! Plus you'll be in touch with your opponent (or bound to be one day). I'm not sure whether this would be terribly difficult...

    Official Corruption Solutions Thread

Would someone please be as generous as to enlighten those of us that are unsure of what the "magic" numbers are concerning the max number of cities you may have on each map size before corruption grows. Be clear please as to if it goes mad after the sizes given or when that size is reached...

    Wonder activated Golden Ages

I built JS Bach's Cathedral and I'm the Indians (not the iroquois). Why didn't my golden age trigger? The cathedral is supposed to trigger the age for religious civs correct?

Win through the discovery of Education Everytime

I was about ready to start a new game when with one turn left, another civ out raced me in building the pyramids. Luckily, I switched to the Great Library. This may not be an original concept, but if you rush for the library instead of the pyramids, you'll be able to win through th early...

    Other civ fighting wars

Okay, now hear this. I'm sitting back bathing in my cultural glory, while 3 or 4 vics declare war on my southern neighbor for no real reason other than to destoy germany. By the time the indian elaphants are through, the nation is split among the aztecs (who are now after me), the Japanese...

    Mobilization?!?

I'm playing on King and winning on the histograph in 1300 CE. One tip, get the pyramids and the lighthouse. And also get your own island! England has stood the test of time for this very reason. I wasn't on my own at the start, but the Japanese succumbed to my Chinese swordmen and I'd...

    Mobilization?!?

Then why are you allowed to go to mobilization without being in a war? That doesn't seem to make sense to me? So what are you supposed to do to revert to normal when you were at peace from the very beginning? Can anyone help me with this question?

    Mobilization?!?

I've been enjoying the benefits of mobilization for about 15 turns, but now I want to get out of it. For some reason I can't just click the button under my advisor that allowed me to switch to mobilization to switch out of mobilization. Am I experiencing a glitch or am I overlooking something...

Played for about 12 hrs. Got the story through 1200AD

More workers for larger cities I believe, but I may be wrong. I believe anarchy will last for 5 turns no matter what, does anyone know for sure about this?
