I have to scroll all the way down past Civ ONE to find the Humankind forum. It should be at the top because it is the newest Civ game. Everything about it is like Civ except the names of concepts have been changed and there are a few new twists.
I think this emergency was directed against me after I took a Mongol city. But, then Mansa votes it down and Mongolia votes it down as well although already at war and refusing allies??
I've got my archeologist next to Anansi's relic, but when I move onto the tile there is no option to recover the relic. The slot in Anansi's home monument is empty. Is it because the relic is on the same tile as a district that I can't get it?
Tired of going scout first? This save lets you try Anansi first and can actually be built faster than the scout! It's a rare thing-- 1) you must play as Rome 2) you must find a natural wonder before settling 3) you must discover Anansi. In this game you get Hermetic Order, to boot, although...
I completed my conquest of Poland and used inquisitors to convert those cities just fine. However, I captured all 3 cities of Saladin, but the inquisitors do not reduce any religious pressure at all, so I can't convert them. Is this a bug or a feature of Saladin? (even though Saladin is...
Like the Dead Sea which formerly provided fresh water, the GBR does NOT give Campus adjacency. A normal reef offers +2, but the GBR offers nothing. There are so many little things in the game that I'm sure it was an oversight that can be fixed in the upcoming update?
Discovering a tribal village does not guarantee an invitation to Voidsingers which is what I wanted to play as first. Instead, I discovered Jerusalem first and got an invitation for Owls. Can I get more than 1 invitation? I wonder, because getting an invitation is a free governor title I can...
Papal Primacy is called a founder belief when it is actually an enhancer belief. Each envoy sent adds 200 pressure. Every other founder belief increases a yield in some way. Exactly what benefit do you get if a city-state follows your religion? None, as far as I can see, except it helps in...
I have cities with a religion and wonders, but don't see the yields awarded in the tooltips.
The save was made with the pre-update version (501), Is that the reason it doesn't work?
In Civ5 there was always a message of how many natural wonders you had left to find after you found one. But, that's gone, now. Does anyone know how many in a standard speed and standard size map there are? (I'm suzerain of Kandy and I need to know how many relic slots to build.)
Also, does...
I thought resources over the cap (say 50) were lost, but they are not. You can sell 1 iron (or whatever) for 1 horse (or 5 gold) and your iron will not go to 49 if you are over the cap. So, if you are 10 over you can 1 by 1 sell them for whatever you need, for free. Of course, you won't know...
So I opened a city-state window to see what it was and now I can't figure out how to close it. Covers up half the map. Turn 5. Major fail?
Edit: OK, you have to click the dagger to the left of the city-state name (on the main map) to close the window. Real obvious.
Firaxis seems to think that if sea ice melts, sea levels rise, but it doesn't. Only if ice on land melts would sea levels rise. But in Civ 6 is there any ice on land tiles?
Google has a program called Alpha Zero, which if you don't know, programmed itself to play world champion level chess in just 4 hours given only the rules of the game to start. So, great AI is just a phone call away!
Teach Alpha Zero to play Civ6 and just a few hours later you have an AI 10...
I was briefly suzerain of Kabul before the AI captured it. However, it is still listed in the resources list that I am getting 2 tobacco due to gameplay bonuses.
Aztecs, and Vikings DLC.
The map was created using Detailed Worlds 1.45
When you get the AI warning "You settled to close" and I agree to "look elsewhere in the future", how close can I settle in the future without breaking the promise? If I ignore the request, I still get dinged for "failing to make a promise".
You might want to build the Great Library for the 2 works of writing slots, but because Drama & Poetry is a prerequisite for Recorded History, you already have access to amphitheaters. So my suggestions are:
1) eliminate the Drama & Poetry requirement for Recorded History.
2) +2 science --...
Can your unit continue to earn experience if you don't take a promotion? It was stated a while ago, that you don't earn any more experience unless you take the promotion and I'm wondering if that is still the case. A lot of the Let's Play games featured promotions not taken because the player...
