Yeah, there is something off with the cache and EUI in multiplayer... The best bet is to not use EUI and always clear the cache when playing multiplayer. I still think 3.10.14 is more stable. But good to know that recent versions are ok. Thank you for the feedback :)
I have updated the main post with a nice modpack for multiplayer, based on VP 3.10.14.
There is a chance that VP 4.2.7 may be even better (the last one with multiplayer improvements by Seroperson), but I didn't test it. After the multiplayer stability has decreased.
If on the vanilla version we could hovering cities to see diplomatic stuffs, and do same when conversing with the AI... It could be a good compromise between memory consumption and QOL improvement.
Hi, did you try without EUI ?
Personally I have these crashes on every versions, but someone said that they could continue to play their multiplayer game if they max-zoom on ocean during AI turns, that is why I suspect that maybe some multiplayer crashes are due to EUI, I really need to test it...
Yes, you did it fine, I don't know what is the problem :/ Looking at the error message it seems that the mapscript used is inside document folder maybe you can try to delete it ?
Is this when you try to play or create a modpack ?
Did you transfer the maps from the modpack to the MAPS folder ? I tested with VP only modpack and it works for me.
Updated to 4.7.1.
Important note: From VP version 4.7.1 the squads modmod has been integrated to the main mod. You can use it in soloplayer but DO NOT USE IT IN MULTIPLAYER as nothing is synced between players when using it.
"Great Prophet Spread Religion actions no longer consume charges." I am unsure about it, feel not fun to play against and maybe OP. I prefer bonus charges instead, or maybe the Indian UA ?
But I really like this mod concept !
:goodjob:
"Deliberately abstaining from this one because I don't want to influence the vote. The vote here will not be interpreted the same way as all the others, as I noted in the thread."
Perhaps you could vote at the very end so as not to influence others ?
Hi @Recursive, "And finally, all of the early Policy trees have had proposals made to buff them. These have a particular impact on civs' earlygame power, so consider their effects carefully." --> Both Authority and progress proposals are nerfs, but tradition proposals are buffs !
Thank you for...
