I'm running a fully patch BTS on a 2.2ghz dual core, 4gb ram, 8600gt graphics card on Vista home premium. Obviously sufficient and the game runs fine at full settings except leaderheads, who after all but the earliest portions of the game take an excessively long time to load. Is there a way to...

How do you disable sound? I've tried turning all sounds, music and sound FX off in the preference menu (in Conquests), but the music still kicks in in-game. I've even tried removing all the files from the Conquests "sound" folder.

This should probably be obvious, but I'm never sure of how it works: If you trade a resource away that you have "1 of 1" of, do you loose the benefits of the resource? In other words, do you have to have "1 of 2+" to gain from the trade?

I've been trying to load a game for weeks now with various settings (even all low) but it continues to be unplayably slow and, what's more, it was taking about 30 minutes to load (quite literally). I have found that lowering the AGP aperture size in your bios settings to the lowest setting...

What driver version do you use? What settings to you play the game (properly) at? Include resolution and Anti-aliasing.
