My sound card is completely compatible with Directx 9.0 and above yet whenever I try to play Civ4, I'm never able to get music during the game. Oddly enough, when I quit or begin a game I get a little hint of music but that's it. Does anyone know how I can fix it? :confused: Or do you need more...

You see, i've just reformatted my PC and installed Rome Total War with all specs okay. But when i try to play it, it says i don't have DirectX 9 or higher right after i installed it in the installation process... What's the problem?
