    CiV doesn't seem to recognize type of troops

    When a civ decides to attack or not, it doesn't seem to recognize the type of units I have stationed. If I'm in 6th position, I get attacked whether my units are all barbs or all swordsman. Am I missing something?

    Looooong Games compared to Civ IV

    Is it just me or do games last 3-4x longer in Civ V then IV? It would be nice if there was some way to group units (not stack) so they could move as a unit. It's a pain in the rear directing every troop to the front lines. It may be more realistic but it's very tedious.

    Improving tiles not within the cross

    What, if any, is the benefit in improving tiles (other than resources) that are not within the cities workable X area? Thanks
