Anyone have some good suggestions on books that give that ehm "Civilization feeling"?
I really like Edward Rutherfurd's books, for example: Sarum and London. They are about a place that you see developing through the ages as seen by its inhabitants. Engrossing stuff (well, to me at least :) )...
Can someone tell me or if I get the special edition in The Netherlands, it will come with an dutch Manual and maybe *shudders* even an translated art book.
Want to know, because I DON'T want that. I really hate manuals in a different language then the game and prefer English for my gaming...
So far I haven't been able to spot any news on Firaxis during E3. Did I miss it? I was very busy, so had no chance to watch all the footage myself.
It seemed to me though, that the strategy/turnbased section was very light.
Heard about East India Company which might be a good game...

I often mine grasslands and such for the added production, but I certainly dont like he look of it. Its just ugly and not realistic, but in Civ3 mining flat land makes more sense then irrigating it...
