Definitly linked to the map restart then. On the save I provided, I did restart the map on the begining.

World age: the older the planet, the flatter it is( less mountain/hills, more flatland) Temperature: Hotter= desert Colder= tundra Rainfall: more rainfall will mean more vegetation. Forests, jungle and whatnot Sea level: pretty self-explanatory, more water mean less lands!

While CIV:BE is a lot of fun, I think its kinda silly how easy it is. I just won an Apollo victory, without getting attacked once and without planning anything. I literally just clicked science semi-randomly(so long as it was harmony, I picked it) and got a contact win within 200 turn on...

I have included the relevant save. To get the win, just bomb the last capital(Le Coeur) and capture it. I tried it twice without getting the achievements (mainly: win as ARC and win in Soyuz difficulty)

Same. Got the achievement on nearly all difficulties, but my recent Soyuz win did not trigger. Guess im gonna have to use the autosave and redo the last few turns until I get it :(

If the goal of the Christians kingdoms is to protect the holy city, they are not doing their job correctly :P But this game is still around yes, the eastern war is on a stalemate for now, but that might change soon *grin*

I honestly do not think so. His technological advantage is pretty big. Frigate do not last long vs bomber, even with some air cover. And my production, hammer-wise, was drastically low too. So once I started losing troops, I could not replace them easily. Then again, maybe a better player could...
