Update: It just arrived.

Mine is out for delivery today, and looking at the tracking info from UPS, it shipped out from the local Amazon fulfillment center 20 miles from my house 4 hours ago. MyUPS tells me it should be here along with one other package I'm expecting today between 10am and 2 pm (It's now 9:12 am).

Amazon says my collector's edition order is being prepared for shipping, is "Shipping soon" and should "Arrive Tomorrow by 8pm." I also live about 20 miles from a distribution center, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I got this message last night (Oct. 18th). Will hopefully get an email that it shipped today.

Anybody know what's up with the link to the Scrambled Continents map pack from the game menu to the Steam Store not working? Can't seem to find it.

Downloaded, took about 4 minutes at 5MB/s down. Now it's running through the install, on step 11 of 42. Oy.

Has this worked for anyone since the patch hit? I think there was a window of an hour or three after it did where people got the preload, but apart from that, I don't think we've heard of anyone downloading it since, have we?

What I really want to try is a game on a larger map with a metric assload of city states and Austria, Venice, Greece, and Mongolia, with all victory conditions except diplomatic and domination disabled. That could be a fun free-for-all.

I'm taking a semester off from grad school, I feel your pain. I'm trying to change mental gears to being able to read for fun instead of school, but I still feel guilty every time I pick up my nook. :)
