Whatever CIV I haven't played yet. I can't say as I have a favorite as I'm always trying differnet things with differnet combos. After winning regullary with financial on Monarch difficulty I'm now working with the other combos. So can't say I have a favorite.

I generally make a couple of axeman to handle patrol duty. These guys get woodsman 1 from barracks and try to get to level 2. Using them to run around the other units and getting them to attack me. If I don't get Iron or Copper then hopefully you have horses. Chariots chew up the axeman...

Totally agree with you man. I'm a monarch player. My games range from cushing the AI to have a very hard time of it. I don't understand how anyone can play at Immortal level, let alone Diety.
