I'm playing as the Greeks on a Large Map on Monarch difficulty. I've just gotten a Medieval Age Leader and I bring him to Athens to rush Knights Templar, but I don't have the option, only the option to create an army. Is there a reason for this, or is it a bug?

Ok, I'm playing a Regicide game, and the single most irritating thing is that I can surge into my opponents' territory, make a beeline for their capital, kill their king and lay waste to the entire empire at once without a very good fight. Shouldn't the AI at least CONSIDER getting their king...
