I'd rather plan for what other civs can do, not random nefarious mobs that flip a coin and decide which civ is going to have to waste turns and hammers dealing with stuff other civs don't have to.

Speaking for myself, when I wander around civ4 I just get a barb axe in my back. It kinda kills my enjoyment of the scenery. :p In any case, this isn't about whether you can survive the game, it's about whether you can survive each other.

This isn't true at all- if diplo is allowed, and you don't want to participate you'll be cut out of all the deals, and everyone else will see you rightly as isolated and a prime candidate to be teamed up on. Not participating in diplo when everyone else has been is game over for that civ.

Well the main issue is about other civs who may not actually know about an invasion, and with out the information may have done nothing, but with the site they would have known, and so might have taken advantage of the war and invaded. I know at RB we had a PB where this knowledge would have...

I was looking around the site Manolo, and it's pretty cool, it's good to see someone pushing beyond civstats, but when I logged on as a guest it looked like I was seeing stuff that shouldn't be publicly available, like graphs, specific unit losses (ie "your warrior killed attacking tank!"), etc...
