Cool. I think I'll give this a shot.

We are in contact with Morgan(Treaty) and Santiago(Truce) whose black border is next to...
@OP
Did we really know that Obama was going to be a leader of the Democratic party well before 2008? He hadn't even held national office long before 2008. So I don't see why the leadership or presidential candidates of 2016 necessarily will be able to be predicted today.
Wow, however is maintaining that website already removed the video. It includes the quote "Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master." I think its interesting that his game made its mark on culture.
I found the video again here...
I would love there to be a modernized SMAC with some of the rough edges sanded down. But due to copyright issues I expect a fan-made SMAC would need different factions, storyline, techs, etc. In other words a completely different game.
1. Forest everywhere
2. Build lots of supply crawlers during the period of time after you have finished expanding and before you can build tree farms.
3. Make cities until bureaucracy drones becomes a big problem.
4. Pop boom
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until game won.
Maybe, but there is also a lot more people in Arizona in general. Wikipedia says Arizona is 5% Mormon, Nevada 11%. But I don't know. We'll find out when the election is over I was just putting forward a scenario in which Obama would receive more electoral votes.
Last election cycle someone made a Palin porn/parody movie. Someone needs to do the same for Santorum. Unfortunately/hilariously it would need to be gay porn.
If the states break D vs R the way they did in 2008 except that Obama picks up Arizona(Romney isn't the senior senator from Arizona) and Romney picks up Nevada(Mormons) with the 2010 census delegate shift that makes it for Obama gaining 1 more delegate than he did in 2008. Feasible?
After you have been here a while you get to see a lot of cycles of the same topics. I eventually got tired of the umpteenth space exploration/prostitution/drugs/global warming/abortion thread and post less.
