So I downloaded a bunch of the popular civilizations from the mod browser, but it seems the majority of them have missings texts and sometimes images in game. Is this a bug in the game or incompletion on the mod authors parts?
After many years of sabbatical (actually just half a year distracted by TF2 mapping) I have decided to once again resume work on my old Civ IV: Vanilla version of Risen by converting it to BTS. I decided to trim a lot of features like the assloads of new techs, civics, and victory conditions for...
Suppose there were no humans, no animals, no aliens, or any other living organisms capable of perceiving the universe. Would the universe still exist? Or might it be existing and not existing at the same time?
 I need a drink.
I can't seem to find it in the python files.
I'm trying to implement a drop down screen where you can choose the ending era, rather than the cumbersome effort of having to load different mods with the respective disabled techs.
I've gotten 3 animations in so far using that sequence technique. But it won't function properly in game. When the unit spawns it just goes through the whole timeline then freezes instead of doing the proper sequence. What goeth wrong?
I know you're out there, good animators! I'll find you...
1. Cleaning the gutters is a snap, since I can easily jump three times my height.
2. Even though apartment buildings and skyscrapers have hundreds of windows, only two floors, an elevator shaft in between, and one room of the main hallway actually exist inside.
3. Pharmaceutical companies...
"But TBR, there's already two (takes a look), THREE other DipNESes!!"
That may be true. But this Diplomacy has a twist! Since I have discovered how to mod jDip, we can have a game where people pick their own customized nations and starting locations as in other cradle NESes!
I don't know...
Fall from Hyrule

Modern Alt-Hist (with a some artistic license thrown in)
Even though Hitler had been assassinated, the Second World War never truely concluded. The world powers slugged it out, but eventually had to return to their corners and recoup. Now, 70 years later, world leaders again grow restless...
Are there places I can direct download news videos? I need material like the Paris riots, stem cell research, and bird flu vids for my Multimedia project!
Well, I'm not the most experienced modder so I'm not really qualified to actually run a NES but I do like posting ideas that may be an inspiration to others.
This NES would naturally take place on a city map instead of a world one. Players will take on the role of an organization vying for...
gy without the benefit of the German brain drain or any information acquired during the invasion.
Just a little something that would be useful to know for my althistory project:)
Ok so it isn't a real aircraft but it combines all the best qualities of a Fishbed, Foxbound, and uh... a fully loaded Huey.

Man, I'm running into some major writer's block with my pedia entires. They're probably the main reason I haven't released any version of my mod in the past months lol. No one will know what's going on without them though "what's a Unigov?". So tough to say just the right words that'll express...
The most feared animal in the ancient frontier is not the Panther, nor is it the wolf, nor the bear, but the Killer Rabbit! This is my first unit so it doesn't animate or make sounds (except for it's low-gravity hop when it spawns). But what's scarier than a rabbit with telekinetic attacks...
Well, this one has been sitting on the shelf awhile but here it is finally! The SNES game we some know and loved transformed to Civ 4 format! It starts with 9 civs in the 9 main areas, plus some troublesome Barbs.
