Cappping the fram rate did not work for me. But Take2 got back to me and suggested that I try running in Win2000 Combatibility mode. That has seemed to work for me so far! I had also reinstalled my system from scratch, and that didn't work, so don't waste your time doing that.

Harkonnen, thanks for the patch! The only issue I was having was a crash to a garbled screen. I just got done a 6 hour marathon with no crashes, so thanks so much! I've got a top-end system, so I never had any lag, just the crashes. Anyway, enough rambling, thanks!!!

It does use the 4-in-1 drivers, but I could have sworn that I had updated them. I have a copy of the ones I installed, so I'll check to make sure that they were that version. And I'm pretty sure I am using the latest nVidia drivers, but I'll check to see if they've released more in the last 2...

Yeah, I can run it fine - except for the crash like rpriha. No lag, no slowdown. Soemtimes I get the corrupted graphics when I zoom out real far.

Just wanted to report back. Updated Chipset (and BIOS while I was at it), defragged HD, re-installed, changed AGP to 4x. Nada. Still crashing at inconsistent intervals.

The OC is out of the box. BFG sells an OC'd version of the 6800. I don't have coolbits installed so I can't back it off. I will try updating my chipset though to see if that works. Pretty sure I did that recently though....

No, I haven't tried either of those things yet. I guess I'll give that a try just in case it does anything.

Has anyone seen this error? I don't think it's the same rainbow thing that other people are talking about. I get it intermittantly- sometimes after 3 rounds, sometimes after 4 hours. It requires a hard restart; I can't get out of it at all. Any help would be much appreciated. Athlon64...
