Yeah, there seem to be a lot of serious issues with some 5000-level Geforce cards (I have a 5500 myself). http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=133116 That thread seems to be where you might want to keep an eye on.

Just as a head's up, chances are you're not having the troubles due to a virus or spyware. What you've described sounds VERY similar to what I, and many on the board, are experiencing. Post your computer specs.

My bugs didn't freeze up my system or anything like that, but I had to exit and re-enter for the menus to reappear.... And Tech Support still haven't answered...

By the way, is anyone else having really weird bugs in the interface as well? I went to the options screen, and it was blank...Went to change the resolution another time and the drop down menu was filled with strange random numbers...

Unfortunately, I don't even think I can get my money back from Ebgames... I don't get the giant need to rush this thing to market. Civ fans are a pretty patient lot. We would have waited another month or two to actually be ABLE to play the game. And frankly, regardless of what a few who can play...

Ok, I tried that, and using the Radgames program ran some wonder movies, and they seem to run smoothly, even though in game they stutter. I also am having a major issue with graphical lag.
