    Things that still irk me

Completely agree except for one thing: amateur coders in their spare time have taken the civ 5 AI to the skies (Vox Populi). If they can, it suggests that the problem of Civ AI coding is not difficulty but skillset. No matter how much some people try to defend Firaxis in this aspect, it is hard...

    [BNW] User Interface looks strange

You are playing with Enhanced User Interface, an UI only mod that does not alter gameplay and doesn't even affect achievements. You are much better with it than with the lame vanilla UI. Production Queue is included in city view, no need for an extra button (which is stupid anyways). Just add...

    Things that still irk me

Another lesson from Call to Power 2 that they refused to learn, probably because of arrogance. In CTP2, all infrastructure was built by using a resource called Public Works, which would be an adjustable portion of Production (with a slider, oh the horror!) to be pooled until used. No workers, no...

    [GS] Dreaming of one more...patch

Not only introduce, but also RE-introduce older bugs like the infamous Alert Button bug. Granted, all games have their issues with every patch because such is the nature of software development, but Firaxis took it to another level. I agree with you, the QA team, if it exists, deserves some...

I see 2 pairs of identical founder beliefs in 4 of the AI religions... is that new or is it a bug? VP 1.1.4 EDIT: repetitions also with pantheons and follower beliefs. WAD or BUG? Moved this question thread to QQ/QA. - Recursive

    [GS] Dreaming of one more...patch

More often than not, after that first AI rush based on its egregious Immortal+ bonuses gets utterly defeated, that AI will never built up its military again. With too much frequency, you will see said AI with a Mil Score of Zero or close, for the rest of the game.

Are you also confident that it will contain the DLL source code?

    [GS] Dreaming of one more...patch

That is particularly annoying, but to be honest, it's not a bug per se but a mix of design decisions and potentially a skillset problem. Neither of these aspects can be solved in a final patch, sadly. But at least they could polish the more blatant aspects that were left untreated, and they are...

    [GS] Dreaming of one more...patch

The remaining bugs are not little. From the top of my head, the AI economy bug that breaks an entire mode (Monopolies and Corps) by making the AI unable to develop its own resources when you play that mode. BIG bug. Deal AI is still bugged as hell, the AI goes to war with any enemy of the player...

I wish I could Like that part twice. Or tenfold.

Agreed. But "punish" is a forbidden word in new-gen gaming.

[GS] Looking for help playing Gathering Storm

This is not necessarily true. I have won Deity games with 6-7 cities without trouble, and one even with 5 (even after losing 2 in the early game to Egypt only to recapture them and come back stronger). It is a fallacy that Civ 6's meta is wide; obviously, if you have more cities, it's even...

What was the best selling Civ Game?

One-age civ game. I want all ages. Unless they are planning something funny for the future... eh @Solver ? :D But we ARE the bugs in the code. ;)

    Which Civs are easy mode?

The fact that the franchise went from "how do I win this?" to "how fast do I win this?" speaks volumes all by itself.

What was the best selling Civ Game?

Hey @Solver and @Soren Johnson , stop analyzing statistics and make a new civ game. :goodjob: We need you badly.

    Which Civs are easy mode?

In other words, they went from too much "punishment" to no "punishment" at all... which is bad, and I would think a 30-year experience franchise would be out of the period of crazy oscillations by now... Strategy involves, by definition, an analysis and weighing of costs and benefits. Both have...

    Which Civs are easy mode?

Hey Vancouver-Japan man! Long time no see! Fun AI vs Good AI, yeah yeah, I know that speech from memory by now... the thing is, it's one thing to have a "fun" AI that does not play to win, and another to have a "boring" AI that does not play with all its own systems, and the ones it plays with...
