I just can't find it in the source files. Either my search function is borked, or the CvGameCoreDLL project doesn't have this line.
If not, where does the program begin execution?
Thanks in advance ... hopeless noob.
I have never been a Kennedy fan, but as I get older I have come to appreciate his Presidency a bit more. Before I praise him, let me bury him.
What I detest most about Kennedy is the cult of personality that the media erected around him and the rest of his family. That type of fawning...
I said "America" not the United States. He was an American and he was a President (not of the U.S.) and he was very bad at both, so he's on the list.
Woodrow Wilson was a horrible, horrible President. The more you read about him, the more you'll realize just how incredibly bad he was at...
Rome: Caligula, Elagabuls, Commodus, man they had so many bad emporer's there's too many to count.
Greece: Androcles. He's the moron that tried to put their best general Alcibiades on trial for no reason (the Herm thing was a rouse to get rid of his political rival), it cost them the Sicilian...
This is easily doable. I edited the xml files and created a time scale longer than Marathon, with building/units costs the same, but research takes longer. So Net result is I stay in the Ancient and Medieval periods longer.
Also, I created an enormous map size to allow the period of...
Argh! "Reductio ad Absurdum". Never type as fast as you are thinking.
No. ;)
Evolve, yes. Change, yes. Improve, unfortunately this is not the case ... in this case.
So many possible posts to reply to, but I'll just start here (Not trying to raise hackles [hackles?], but tone of voice doesn't transcribe unfortunately):
Chalk: yes, I could learn the features and functions of Steam. It is probably very customizable and there may be ways to remove/ignore...
It seems there are two schools of thought here. This is just one man's opinion...
I hate steam and I'm not a pirate. I pay cash money for my games and believe software pirates should be hung (virus programmers shot ... well boiled in oil, then shot).
"Hate" is a strong word, I prefer...
As a means of overcoming the DRM, yes. Steam is ok, but I prefer gamersgate.
Why the steam hate? It's an application that installs itself to load everytime you turn on the computer (you have to go and tell it not to do that manually). Then you can't play the game unless you either a) log...
Currently playing a game with leaders free to lead any civ, but I am finding in the diplomacy window, its impossible to figure out who is heading up what civilization. For instance, I'm trying to negotiate with the Maya, but the Mayan Leader is head of the Chinese and Winston Churchill is head...
Er, been a while since I played. Can anyone remind me what was the command to plant a "sign" on your land to name it? Or to remind yourself where you want to put a city?
Thanks, cant find it in the guide.:scan:
THANK YOU!!! That's is just what I needed!
I was doing forum searches for "add" and "xml" and "tag", all of which are under the 4 letter limit -- Argh!
Does anyone know how to add a new unit tag in the xml files that will be recognized by the game? For instance, if you want to add a new unit ability and want to be able to specify whether each unit has it or not.
What are the steps to implement this?
Dale was able to do this in his combat...
Sid Meiers thought it up, I believe. And yes it is stupid that nuclear power plants would cause global warming since they are the only source of base-load power that currently emits no CO2 apart from hydropower. As for nuclear waste, it should not cause global warming, but a decrease in health.
simplybag, I just happened to be checking on my little problem when I came across yours. There was a bug a while back that caused a crash when viewing cities if you were using a mod with more than 8 luxury resources. If you had 9 luxury resources and looked at your capitol the game would...
