    Tripod, you will need to merge both the python and C++ files together which requires a C++ compiler and some know-how on how to do that.

    Well are you trying to run the tech tree editor in Civ4 vanilla? Warlords? BtS? what version of the Tech tree editor did you download? Did you put the files in the right place?

    Get a free C++ compiler and IDE, get the SDK from the DLL directory in the BTS install folder. Make a backup copy of the files there and merge the two sets of source codes together. I would normally do it but right now I am really slammed at work.

    Thanks ozon... its not a mod, its a mod comp. I will only include one or two sample modified building, units, etc. for modders to reference... TheLadiesOgre is building a mod that will include it though.

    Yep, that's what I am thinking... Thanks, we are still working on this mod. Its getting really close to an Alpha release. I won't call it a Beta until I get the AI using the system reliably.

    You didn't need the CvPath.py file fix... the BtS version of the tech tree editor already had the fix. Please redownload version v0.7.2BtS to restore the original CvPath.py file.

    Yes, it should work. But right now I don't have the time to do it. If you have C++ skill you might want to try it yourself. I am currently busy with the city resource stockpiling code.

    The Tech Tree Editor config files are in the main folder for the tech tree editor. The name of the file is: Tech Tree Editor Config.ini And no I don't have this problem in my version of Warlords.

    Why not just build your cities on a coastal tile? Isn't that the same thing?

    Only the configuration part of the python files... there are other python files that I needed to mod to get everything to work correctly. I tried doing it all in the SDK but it didn't work.
