I believe the phrase is "All is fair in love and war" I think double moving is a legit strategy no matter what you do. There are pros and cons to it. Some people think having the last turn is the best thing to have, some think the first. Either way they see it they win one and lose one.

Yeah, as soon as I got alphabet I went crazy for trading techs. And yeah, then I found out that it gives them off as freebies. Now I only offer a trade with one person that I think will do it. If they don't I just have to wait to next turn.
