I agree. The DLC model was good. I hope they do more with it this time around since they are keeping it. I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe version myself.
This looks great. Does the Siberia area have enough Tundra/Snow regions? Not sure about that. I like the overall look of the map. Seems to be good room for early expansion for most civs without requiring an immediate war. Looking forward to the release of the Map!

As far as I know, anyone is more than welcome to attempt their own Mod for the LOTR. Pariah game me permission to share the maps I did in the January Update post. Any actual programing that was finished is in the hands of Berenthor and Sengir as they were the ones doing that aspect of this...
In all honestly I would say that this attempt at a LOTR Mod is dead. I am sorry that we were unable to finish this and get it out for everyone to experience.

I believe he is working on something. Not sure if it is Rhye's and Fall or not. Been a while since I checked out his threads in the CIV section. That is still where he posts as well as on his own site.
I am having a great game as the Mongols right now. Conquering City-States as I go. For some reason, the others don't like that very much ;). 90% of the City States eventually declare war on me. That is fine as most are on tiny Islands and I can take my time conquering them. But then the $%*^...
To be honest. Things have really stalled on the Mod front. Filivs Terrae is looking into things as well now, but I can't say with any honesty that this is going to get made.
