Wrong thread.

Also, Lord of Elves, you need to have either territory or ships next to a province to be able to invade it. Kind of sucks for you :(

The Mughal Caliphate

Since the Ottomans, in their decadance and complacency, have neglected their responsibilities and allow their realms to be usurped by the infidel Venetians, and allowed Al-Quds and even the Two Holy Mosques themselves to fall pray to the heretics of Antioch, they no longer deserve to be entrusted with caliphal authority. Their Padishah, an emperor without an empire, has made himself unworthy of Allah's blessings, and of the title of Caliph.

Refugees from the Ottoman Empire, including the Mufti of Constantinople and other notables, have braved the dangerous journey into Mughal Iran. They and the good Muslims of Hindustan, Iran and Khorasan have indisputably endorsed His Imperial Majesty the Padishah, their Emperor, as Caliph, in place of the disgraced Ottoman so-called Sultan in hiding somewhere in Romania.

Glorious be our Padishah and Caliph, Khusrau Shah!

Would our muslim brothers in the Mughal Caliphate be interested in a free trade agreement?

From: French Empire
To: America
CC: Great Britain

My advisers have informed me that American soldiers have entered lands claimed by me, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Philippe I of France, Protector of Indochina and Claimant to Quebec.

A neutral third party in the region, Great Britain, has already recognized our claims. I ask you to relinquish your forces from that region and recognize French sovereignty therein on behalf of the French people.

Hindustan rolls a 6 on their territorial bonus check. An additional army has been added to their ranks.(Feel free to explain this however you want.)

We don't need to explain anything. It's only natural that our brothers in Central Asia would join us. It's the Mughals' ancestral homeland, after all.

Ha! The Siamese, such a weak, enfeebled people.

A great mosque will be constructed in the middle of Ayutthaya to celebrate this crushing victory. We will tolerate other religions of course.

Our mutual ally Great Britain has already recognized our claims to that land.

I'd hardly say 'mutual ally.' We hsve offered a trade agreement to both sides involved, but as far as I can recall, neither actually agreed.

British :)

I think it was more of a "The army you just killed joined your ranks! You're winner!" thing.

I really shouldn't respond to events in IOTs while trying to play World of Warcraft :hammer2:

You can consider yourself in a trade agreement with the French Empire, however.

@LoE, France has no place in Madagascar. The Asian confederation gave me rights to that area. Please withdraw from the island. I don’t want this to cause a rift in our friendship.

EDIT: You’re in central asia as well?! You’ve got to be joking!!! Are you trying to piss off the Asian Alliance?!! If you don’t withdraw from Asia and Madagascar IMMEDIATELY, you will see the power of four nations in alliance being used against you.

You realize that was one of his two starting areas, and that the only other place he could possibly ever expand as of right now is Quebec, riiiiiight?

The second claim was right next to China. It was going to cause strife with China. If he had expanded in Quebec, he wouldn’t of had this problem.

Vietnam isn't Chinese, and then he might have to deal with America in Quebec.

I'm going to defend him physically, I'm just saying you getting mad at him for having basically no room to expand is absurd.

If it's so important, why did you only now realize it?

I'm afraid we must side with the Australasians over Madagascar. What the French is doing so far from home, we cannot understand.

As for your holdings in Indochina, I'm afraid that is right in between our territories and those of our allies. Naturally, we do not appreciate this French intrusion into the East; it'd be as if we suddenly show up out of nowhere to settle the Netherlands. That territory was allocated to the Empire of Great Qing which has cultural and historical connections to the area. The French may have landed there before the Treaty with Qing was signed but you know how it is with communication in this day and age; messages get lost, ships bearing envoys get sunk, carrier pigeons get caught by hawks, and so on.

So long story we missed your original message and found out a little late, and as a matter of fact His Imperial Majesty the Padishah had some trouble believing that the French would be so... oh, words fail me, to settle there. His Imperial Majesty enjoyed some good laughs that day.

But of course this is no laughing matter. We suggest the French governor in Hanoi make his way to Beijing to pay his respects to the Qing Emperor right away, and transfer the province of Indochina to the Qing forthwith.

You realize that was one of his two starting areas, and that the only other place he could possibly ever expand as of right now is Quebec, riiiiiight?

That is the French's own mistake. And of course it is not in the interest of H.I.M. the Padishah nor the Emperor of the Great Qing to bolster the strength of a foreign power.
