Ireland doesn't recognise any of the separatist states, and throws it's weight behind America.

Word from Chairman Zhao of the Pan-Asian Union

We see that several upstarts are rising in the former United States. While we applaud the new governments for reestablishing order in their respective spheres, we must warn that we will not take kindly to violence in the buffer zone between our occupation zone on the Pacific Northwest and the rest of the continental United States.

Word from the French President

Likewise, we see that Carolina is alive and along with Colorado are trading with the United States. However, we will not accept violence within our buffer zo
ne either.

So can I start gobbling up Kentucky if I take provinces in Tennessee (and have enough armies)?

Yes. I think. As long as the territories you're expanding into are adjacent to your territory.

So, theoretically, I could expand all the way across the country given enough armies and no opposition in a turn?

Can territories be traded/gifted?

No because the territory you're expanding into has to be adjacent to territory you already controlled because armies can only attack adjacent territories. And yes, territories can be gifted.

Aw, I wanted to expand into Kentucky!

Great Lakes Commune

We are ok with you expanding into Ketucky but we ask you don't expand into the Midwest.

... which definition of the midwest are they using?

DIBS ON RHODE ISLAND!

I suppose Arkansas is out of the question for the other guys, then?

Actually, I'm going to shut this game down for the time being. Lack of interest and plus, there's more than enough IOTs up and running at the time so yeah.

I think it's a tad too complicated. Either that or I was bad at selling the idea. In any case, I'll rework the idea, expand the game area, and make refit it to be a Victorian Age of Imperialism deal of a game.

They don't appreciate your genius!

Not really. I got some ideas from SoM, a lot of ideas from LH's original Homefront, etc. Not really genius. Just me seeing a butch of good systems I thought I could improve like I felt I did with IOT6's ruleset.
