6,050 Years in the Life of a Confused City-State

you produced that number rather quickly, it was only a short while ago that you were at 1000.
It's no surprise, since, less than an hour later, he is well beyond the 2000 mark. I guess that that is what happens when you put a Farmer in charge of the country's Espionage--he can't help himself and just doesn't stop talking. :D

I admit, though, that it does take a long time to write updates when you have each of your characters' names colour-coded.

It's no trouble writing updates... it's just I'm really busy at the moment :/

Can't do anything Mondays, was at a family thing on Sunday... half of Tuesday afternoon's out...

To be fair, the last update was only 9 days ago. It's not the slowest updating speed I've seen :p
If I had a free half hour....

I'm going Comedic though, so colour coding is more of a requirement than a choice :D

Because I was thinking whether my third story should be colour coded or not. Then again, I won't be writing it in play style, anyway.

(Yes, I did say THIRD story. Always planned it that way since November :p)

700 BC. We see the leader of the city-state (Olaf) and the Master of Espionage (Yoshi) talking to a tall woman.

Olaf: So you're offering us your services?
Elizabeth van Lew: That's right. I've been living on the streets from an early age. I know about spying. Believe me, I can sneak into any building; bluff my way into any palace; climb over the walls of any city.
Yoshi: You sound like just the right person for our task, then. You're going to Mongolia. Here; you'll need this.
Elizabeth van Lew: Don't expect me to be confused and say 'what's this for'? That's getting old. It's a fake passport. Thanks.
Olaf: Er... no. You see, I like to keep these things legit. So, actually... that's a real passport.
Elizabeth and Yoshi (together):...Oh. Right.

425 BC. Somehow, our Great Spy is still alive... and has only just reached Mongolia.

Elizabeth van Lew: Nice place you've got here.
Innkeeper: Thanks. The painting over there's First Khagan Era. The carpet, on the other hand...
Elizabeth: I'm not really interested. I just acted like I was to make you act friendlier. Do you always scowl like that... is that a monobrow?
Choxorn (narrator): General Olaf! They haven't invented razors yet here. Don't put that in the plot!
Olaf (CFCer):Too bad. :p
Elizabeth (to Innkeeper): I'll be staying for, er... a very long time. It's hard to explain. Don't ask. And don't be shocked if I vanish.

Have you Spent her yet? The sooner that you do, the sooner that Kublai will "panic" and start spending bucketloads of Espionage Points on you, to counter the impending Spy missions. It is preferable to have a couple of Spies built and in-place before "spending" a Great Spy. Just saying.
