I joined this game so that it could run. So that these hosts could get a chance to host their game. I was retired from here because of things. I was not enthusiastic about playing and I have other more important games I'm involved in or hosting (important from my perspective).

I log in once a day, if that. But I do spend 5 seconds thinking about my vote before I do it.

And then I do it.

Could others please put more effort into it than I am? Because I'm doing the bare minimum to still call myself a townie, and I'm still doing more than several folks.

I AM going to randomly lynch one of yall tomorrow if participation doesn't pick up. I'll use my special one-time mayoral lynch power on some random lurker.

That's actually not something the GMs are going to worry about or part of the ruleset here - except for changing votes in a post by edit which is to be avoided, otherwise it's legal. Just so players are clear.

People went about their business, nefarious or otherwise, after the excitement of the day before. Any more attempts to keep order on the streets weren't noticeable - Springfield looked the same as ever.

One well-disguised man with a thuggish attitude stalked another person home, following the car at a cautious distance. He was getting somewhat used to this and knew there was no one to stop him tonight.

"Lady, nothing personal, but you're cramping our style."

The victim was struck hard with a bat, suffering several injuries and screaming in pain at a dislocated shoulder. Satisfied he had done enough to scare this target away for good, the attacker fled unidentified.




In the morning, the town heard the news about Skwink, who required a stay at the hospital, but there was nothing further discovered about any of the previous casualties or jailed suspects. Citizens hoped they could continue to make the right calls, but were worried about losing more of their number. Only time would tell where the mob would set their sights.

There was one more interesting development, as a local fisherman brought up. He had spotted some fish with bizarre deformities in the lake near the Springfield Nuclear Plant, and netted one of them. While some citizens may have heard of the issue before, seeing a freshly caught Blinky, the three-eyed fish was of quite some interest to others. Many clambored to take it for themselves until it was decided to settle the issue by vote, to see who would get the fish with its unusual properties due to mutation.

I was about to vote for you here, mister NinjaCow, because I don't like it when people snuggle up to me so obviously.

That said, Mayor needs to be jailed. I put some thought into this and I think one of the people who was wanting to be mayor wanted it for nefarious reasons.

I happen to have the Askthepizzaguy card, which means I know I'm innocent. That leaves mayor. What exactly were you going to do with mayoral powers, mayor?

How about the fish? What do you want the fish for?
