The last time the Caribbean Sun popped out in full force was in Tropico, in which I arranged a game-breaking Cuban Confederation that had triple the IP of everyone else. The first time was in IOTVI, my first real IOT, where I played everyone in North America against each other to build up the largest nuclear stockpile in the game.

Description: The Manchu Qing Dynasty then allied with Ming Dynasty general Wu Sangui and overthrew Li's short-lived Shun Dynasty, and subsequently seized control of Beijing, which became the new capital of the Qing Dynasty. While China was wracked by continuous war, Meiji Japan succeeded in rapidly modernizing its military and set its sights on Korea and Manchuria. At the request of the Korean emperor, the Chinese government sent troops to aid in suppressing the Tonghak Rebellion in 1799. However, Japan also sent troops to Korea, leading to the First Sino-Japanese War, which resulted in Qing China's loss of influence in the Korean Peninsula as well as the cession of Taiwan to Japan. In 1812 a chinese revolt forced the emperor to go back to manchuria with the rest of the manchus. But the empeor still claimed to be leader of all china. Soon a war happend and manchuria was taken over by chinese forces. The new republic of china started a huge genoside against the manchu population and the taxes were too much too afford. Also the emperor was executed. At 1827 a revolution started demading manchurian indepedence. After 3 years of fighting millions of chinese troopers the manchus took indepedence at 1830. A danish prince became King of manchuria.

The Jacobite Kingdom of New Caladonia​

Claims: Central America


Government: An Absolute Monarchy ruled by the Stuart Kings.
Capital: Although the official capital is Edinburgh this is a Government in exile and so their real capital is New Edinburgh, with the king's secondary residence being Fort St Andrew.
Description: After the seemed failure of nearly all the Jacobite risings the Stuarts supporters decided to try a different route. Firstly they went to Nova Scotia seeing if the people there were feeling in a revolutionary spirit, but they were not, and the French that looked over them were quite forceful. They tried to gain support for the next rising in countless other places. Everywhere from India to Austria, from Lithuania to Nippon. But try as they might no one seemed ready to support a multiple failed cause.
So one day they got to the crux of the matter, the reason that Scottish independence was no longer there. They visited the failed colony that had bankrupt the Scottish Government and made them the laughing sock of the world: Darien.
From here the Jacobites planned to rebuild the old settlements, they planned to reinvigorate the land and tame it to their own ends. Thus the called for aid from the rich Jacobean families across the world and they created an expedition. During the later months of 1812 they set sail once again to the failed colony of New Caledonia.

Once the colony had been successfully reestablished (in around 1814) they planned to move the Stuarts overseas. As soon as they arrived it was proclaimed to the world that New Caledonia was now a free, independent nation and not to be trifled with.
