NIGHT TWENTY
The night, unfortunately, was not quiet for everyone.
One citizen was out on the streets late, in what was presumably a respectable neighborhood, but that didn't deter an attempted attack.
The attacker was carrying an enormous length of rope, implausibly tied to some object far in the distance.
What he hadn't prepared for, was the victim not being entirely on foot. Instead, the victim lept onto a skateboard and took off with haste.
The unknown assailant chased as fast as he could but then his rope finally ran out, causing him to suddenly stop and decide to give up. His target had gotten away.

The good news was everybody was present in the morning, with no further events causing harm to other citizens.
The bad news was the report on the status of another hospitalized Springfieldian,
Red_Spy. Despite his bad attitude and ugly countenance the man was not really one of the dangerous criminals threatening the town.
Today there was still an urgent need to resolve the crisis, and remaining citizens got to business.
