The people of Springfield gathered around their top suspect for the day, NinjaCow64. A majority stood accusing him as the last holdout of the criminals that had plagued the town.
Unwilling to face the violence, he tried to flee, and when caught by the mob with fury in their eyes, he broke down with a full confession
"C'mon, I didn't really do anything. This all started with the rest of them, the elders, they wanted revenge and they'll still get it one day!"
The crowd was not deterred and gave NinjaCow64 a serious beating.

At the same time, a state trooper arrived from the hospital with important news. Interrogations and confessions gathered over the past few days had revealed enough about the activities of another unlawful group to ascertain the threat had been neutralized. While several private citizens had apparently banded together to form a new oligarchy to rule Springfield, their efforts had been for naught, and the last of the conspirators, only a child, had also been outed.

With all these shocking relevations taking everyone's attention, nobody noticed for quite a while that one person had gone missing. Back at townhall everyone frantically searched for johnhughthom but he was nowhere in the area.
While johnhughthom's whereabouts were unknown to the town, he was, however, fleeing from an FBI agent in hot pursuit. Being accidentally placed on America's Most Wanted was no boon to him and his schemes, as it turned out he had been in it for himself throughout this whole crisis, along with a trusted partner.
Spoiler:
Milhouse from Shelbyville (NinjaCow64) was really a member of the Milhouse faction!
Johnhughthom found himself cornered, at the end of a water runoff tunnel overlooking the precipitous drop of Springfield dam.
"I'm telling ya, I didn't do anything!"
"I don't care!" The gruff agent yelled in response.
johnhughthom had no options left, he had to jump.
"Aaaaaahhhhhhh! My glasses!"
Spoiler:
Milhouse Van Houten (johnhughthom) is a member of the Milhouse faction!

Back at the center of town, there were only five citizens remaining. Kent Brockman was covering the scene live on television, along with the soon anticipated arrival of an outside reporter from a reputable record book. This year Springfield was hoping to crack 250 on the list of the world's 300 worst cities. It would be a good thing if the town had wrapped up this disastrous crisis before anyone came asking questions.
Yet the remaining people still had a feeling some things were not quite right. A few stole glances at each other, wondering what was up.
classical_hero was the first to make a move. Before anyone else could say anything, he headed towards a vehicle where a couple of privately hired security guards were waiting.
"I've done all I can here, but my only real duties are to my boss, Mr. Burns. We'll get things back on track in the days to come, regardless of what happens to the town."
So he left, leaving only four.
Spoiler:
Waylon Smithers (classical_hero) is Neutral!
Two of the four remaining, however, were only children. And much like every previous night, they had to get home as dusk was setting in.
Winston Hughes, taking on some responsibility for once, picked up Gone 3 the Celt and started to skate away.
"Other than Homer ended up injured like he does pratically every week I think we came out of this ok. Mom's going to want to see us at home."
Spoiler:
Bart Simpson (Winston Hughes) is an Innocent Springfieldian!
Spoiler:
Maggia Simpson (Gone 3 the Celt) is an Innocent Springfieldian!
General Olaf was left to look over the scene at town hall, where so much violence had taken place when the mob succumbed to baser instincts.
Now, he liked what he saw. After all this time and all this effort he had survived. For himself and his fallen friends he would claim victory, there were no dangers left to him now. Fortunately this meant nothing bad for the rest of Springfield, as he headed off on his back to where he came from, muttering to himself about his triumph over liberals, and sarcastic ducks, his mortal enemies.
Spoiler:
Flatulent Fox (General Olaf) is a Scratchyian!
Then, Jarrema had a decision to make. He had faced perhaps the most hardship of all, falsely accused of crimes he did not commit, and once in fear of repercussions for his immigrant status. Now, he had been vindicated of all wrongdoings and accepted as a proud member of the proud Springfield community. Tending to his convenience store could wait for once, he declared, as tonight he was going to party like it was on sale for $19.99.
Spoiler:
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (Jarrema) is an Innocent Springfieldian!
Burns/Smithers - had some terrible luck early, town vig just got Burns with a limited ability
Below are some general comments on the game design and what we saw play out from a host's perspective.
Spoiler host commentary :
Basic overview and victory goals
Spoiler:
At the core of the game was the town vs. mafia struggle, which is how it seemed to mostly play out. The town had 8 players they needed eliminated at any time, 4 on each of two mafia teams. Having all of the mafia eliminated would immediately trigger town victory. So the town's overall victory was pretty straightforward and the concept public to everyone, but no townies were given knowledge of exactly which factions were mafia. This might be a point players have noticed but it was purposeful, with what the town needed to do being reasonably deducible and to their credit the townies mostly did so. Ultimately the intention of this seemed to work out quite well, as enough room for confusion and debate left for the early parts of the game, and regarding third party roles, the cult and the serial killer in particular, which did play a factor even into the endgame. Excepting the Milhouse victory, all other third parties and neutrals had their victory conditions resolved independently.
The two mafia factions, like much of the rest of the game, drew consistently from storylines within the TV series with what were hopefully good cover roles.
For particular references, "Lemon of Troy" served as a basis for the Shelbyvillain team, and "Lisa the Iconoclast," and "They Saved Lisa's Brain" provided references and character alignments for the Sprungfeld team; in both cases there were also characters related to these storylines on the townie side.
Both Itchy as a serial killer and the Scratchy cult seemed to play out well, two sides of the same struggle. As with other roles anyone curious hopefully sees some things resolved with the Role PMs posted, and the Scratchyians did a great job pulling through after early setbacks, though landlubber deserves an Honorable Mention for a very close call on Itchy victory, almost had it.
The Neutral roles were meant to be truly very neutral, with victory conditions largely indepedent of everybody else. Homer Simpson's role was one of the more enjoyable ones from a host perspective with the mini-victory goals all related to various Simpsons storylines, and it seemed to work well, and Sideshow Bob, having surely one of the harder victoy conditions, still pulled it off too.
Additional honorable mentions go to choxorn and classical_hero who put a lot of effort into a narrow defeat as a neutral team. Fitting the trend with the neutral characters, Burns and Smithers also were some of the most difficult roles, but with flexibility and opportunity had things worked out. They were struck by poor luck and the way the game played out for everybody else being rather unforgiving to them, such as the town doctor/reviver not really being available for them to even make the case on healing Mr. Burns.
One additional ability to help Burns survive could have been nice, though the main intended issue was that the only thing they needed to avoid was Burns being hospitalized, jail likely to be an easy out eventually. I think the holdup was that the design couldn't accodomate additional survival-related abilities with the number of players able to survive or recover from things or help others do so already. Perhaps the first change I'd make to the design in retrospect would be to rework Burns' and Smithers' victories to several mini-goals much like Homer's role.
Lastly, the Milhouse faction was effectively a Lover team set up with a high level of inside knowledge and some powerful abilities, and were also some of the host's favorite roles to see in action. Again in a close losing scenario, both johnhughthom and NinjaCow64 put in monumental efforts to make it as far as they did and almost close it out. Regarding this team, while we didn't know everything that went on behind the scenes, I don't think the hosts could have asked for any better endgame than to see the pair of lovers still trying to outwit everyone else while multiple other factions still battled for victory, well done to both of you.
As a final comment, for anyone curious, balancing done around the number of players, a few lower from the maximum number of signups, was a few minor townie roles were cut (among several possibilities, like Nelson Muntz and Barney Gumble) and some mafia abilities slightly weakened.
Game Events
Spoiler:
Short section here for now.
A lot of the decisions that could be voted on had some tangible gameplay effects, though a few only affected victory conditions and personal goals. Notably, Lyle Lanley was able to cause the Monorail vote to be repeated if it didn't pass and ultimately a player could have been chosen to be monorail conductor, gaining a busdriver ability. This didn't pan out, and the event system also was not designed for a game lasting as long as this did but still seemed to be effective in the early game as it was intended, for creating discussion and votes.
Addressing the pace of the game and seeming lack of "kills"
Spoiler:
This observation is surely something most of the players in the game would have noticed and some preliminary comments are probably due. The game lasted longer than intended, which was ideally around 10-12 phases, 15 not being unreasonable, but not intended at all to last as long as it did.
Far and away the main issue from a host perspective was simply player inactivity. I'd ask not to be harsh on fellow players as across a large number of participants this added up to collective difficulties for the game from a number of sources. It was disappointing at times as a host and I'm sure for some of the active players, the only thing to be done is ask and hope for active participation in future game.
As for the individual players and characters with various forms of kills, here's what we saw:
The Shelbyville mafia attempted kills fairly effectively as long as they were around, a combination of some roleblocks, protections, and their team getting caught or killed. Likewise, a couple of limited vigilante efforts went through, so the hosts were generally pleased with the efforts and results working out within expectations here.
Itchy as a serial killer, over the course of the game did get in a reasonable and respectable number of kills. The possibility of a much more bloodthirsty Itchy existed and was accounted for, but this game through landlubber' choice there was some avoidance of attacks on townies for no good reason. It was interesting to see this decision's effects and it certainly did pan out to helping the town, without really seeming much of a detrimental factor to Itchy either in a close game.
What the above added up to was a roughly expected number of kill attempts and players removed from play by some means, though of course the game still lasted longer than expected. The lion's share of an explanation from a host's perspective would be two factors then.
Firstly, the Springfield Police characters, which all had the opportunity to arrest players at night, sending them to jail, were not active, and this ability was never successfully used. This was particularly very damaging to the Sprungfeld team, with setting up false arrests being their equivalent to a nightkill, and unfortunate the game played out that way.
Secondly, there was a commendable effort by the town as a group for making effective use of the game's lynch mechanics, which was also pleasing to see. The town made heavy use of the jail mechanic from early on and throughout the midgame chose to release many players. With a combination of some useful information deduced and discussed partway into the game, the town got the results of mostly townies from early lynches being released, with a switch to focus on hospitalization to catch the scum.
This was absolutely the right move by the town and it's a credit to many town players to stick to their guns and follow through. It was an expected necessity for non-town players to fool and disrupt this general strategy, certainly with some means to do so, and the town pulled together with many right calls, which meant more players alive for a long time but ultimately helped them to victory.
Any more comments/general discussion may go here.
Specific questions are welcome and will be answered as we go along, however that's all for now.
All participants in the game are now free to post, and again the next few posts will be filled in with the original Role PMs.
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Discipline Bart Simpson
Abilities: In Loco Parentis: Each night you may attempt to catch another player. You must correctly name the character of the player you are targeting for this ability to be effective. If the character is a child, you will discipline them and send them back to school where they belong. The player’s lynch vote will count only for 0.5 votes and they will no longer be able to perform night actions.
Small, Petty Man: You have a strong sense of justice and want to see things done right. Children should not be sent to the Springfield jail along with other criminals. Once during the game, as a Day Phase ability, you may PM the GM to let a child character out of jail. They will be sent back to school under the same restrictions as your night ability. Items: None
Background:
You are the principal of Springfield Elementary School. A traumatized Vietnam War veteran, you still live with your elderly mother and have flashbacks of terrible events from time to time. You try to run a strict and efficient school and frequently have to deal with troublemakers. One thing is clear – regardless of this crisis in Springfield, children should be in school and you will not allow truancy.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: The Boy Who Knew Too Much: follow a player the night they attack someone.
Abilities: None Items:
Skateboard: Allows you to follow one player at night and see what they do (Active Ability) Lucky Red Cap: While in your possession allows you to avoid most night actions, including attacks, against you.
Background:
The oldest child in the Simpson family, you are a renowned troublemaker. Normally children wouldn't have much say in a crisis like this but Springfield does things differently, and your healthy distrust of authority figures and adventuresome attitude say otherwise. You think you can figure some things out while roaming the streets as "El Barto," so long as you don't get caught.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: At least two members of the Simpsons family survive (this can include yourself)
Abilities: Guardian Angel – Once during the game you may attack another player. This is a Day Phase ability which will take place with the evening writeup – your character’s identity will be hinted but not your identity as a player. If you successfully attack a non-town player, you gain a second use of this ability. Items: Pistol – required for your ability
Background:
You are the youngest child in the Simpson family and just a baby really. Now you’re lost and separated from your family and just want this crisis in Springfield to end peacefully, even though people still count you as a participant at this town meeting. Ever since you accidentally shot Mr. Burns you’ve also discovered your profound natural talent with firearms.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Recover from an attack against you
Jail Status: You are stuck in jail at the beginning of the game. Recall the rules for players in jail – you may not vote, communicate privately, or send ability orders. You must convince the town to let you out of jail.
Abilities: Kiss of Hot Lead: You will spontaneously recover from injuries after two Day Phases pass where you were in the hospital. Items: None
Background:
You came to America from India and studied under the brilliant John Frink. Since then your career has shifted as you became the owner of Springfield’s Kwik-E-Mart convenience store. Unfortunately, you have just been arrested under suspicion of poisoning Comic Book Guy by Springfield’s less than thorough police department and they don’t look about to clear you of charges anytime soon.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Help another Springfieldian (Innocent) player get out of jail.
Jail Status: You are stuck in jail at the beginning of the game. Recall the rules for players in jail – you may not vote, communicate privately, or send general ability orders. Note your ability is an exception to this general rule. You must convince the town to let you out of jail or break out of it yourself.
Abilities: Jailbreak: You may attempt to break out of jail as a night action, PM me to plan your escape. If the police are guarding the jail you won’t succeed but you can keep trying until you breach their security. It takes one night to prepare for your jailbreak and then you will attempt to break out the next night.
Whenever you are out of jail as a Living player, you may choose to go back and attempt to break one other player out of jail each night, though again police patrols may thwart this action. Items: None
Background:
You are a career criminal who has engaged in all sorts of violent and non-violent crimes. Escaping from Springfield police custody has become practically a ritual for you. You’ll be living large again in no time!
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: No player illegally escapes from the jail.
Abilities: Stakeout: Each night you may choose a player to watch. You will see all other players who attempt to perform an action on the target player, and in addition your presence will deter petty thieves. Items: None
Police Department: You are a member of the Springfield PD along with YoshiEgg737 – Eddie, who may block other players’ actions, and bestrfcplayer – Lou, who may perform detective work to determine if a player has committed a crime. You may communicate on a quicktopic here if you wish. Due to standard police protocol you are forbidden from revealing your internal communications to others. (do not give this link to other players, publicly or privately. If you reveal your Role PM publicly, remove the quicktopic link)
Police Ability: To Protect and Serve: Each night, any member of the police may attempt to arrest a character in place of another night action. There is no limit on the number of police who may attempt arrests. Should the player be guilty of a crime they will be sent to jail. However, should an arrest be attempted on a non-criminal player the scandal will reflect harshly on the police and the player attempting the arrest will have his lynch vote count as 0 votes and lose the ability to attempt further arrests for two Day/Night cycles.
The criminal status of players may change during the course of the game due to game events, such that players who were not criminals may become criminals, or players pardoned and let out of jail by town consensus are cleared of charges.
Police Duty: Guard the Jail Each night any member of the police may choose to guard the Springfield jail in place of another night action. If no police officer is on duty, jailbreaks or other events may be at risk of occurring.
Background:
You are the longtime Chief of the Springfield Police. If you believed the rumor mill, you are an incompenet pig waddling about on stubby legs and prone to making the wrong arrests and accepting kickbacks. You’ll show them you can do your job right… sometimes. Take em away, boys!
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!

Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!

Turquoiside/Homer Simpson
Spoiler:
Player: Turquoiside Character: Homer Simpson Faction: Homer Simpson (Neutral)
Victory Condition:Homer Simpson Victory (See Below). As a Neutral you are not part of the town but you are not hostile to them.
Abilities: Basic Actions Once during the game you may roleblock another player. Once during the game you may protect another player. Items: None
Background:
You are the head of the Simpson household and longtime safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Plant. Though in some ways you’re a simple family man who loves his beer and sports, you’ve lived a life of amazing escapades, whether it’s going into space, winning a Grammy, or punching George HW Bush.
Goals: As Homer Simpson you are far too self-centered and disinterested in the town at large to care about more than your personal whims. You have a set of independent goals to accomplish in order to achieve victory. Accomplish at least 3 out of 7 to achieve a marginal victory, and 5 out of 7 for a decisive victory (equivalent to another player completing victory + personal goal).
Simpsons Family First: At least two members of the Simpsons family (this can include yourself) survive at the end of the game Stupid Flanders: Ned Flanders is lynched Hunger Strike: Prevent the Isotopes from moving to Albuquerque Chosen One: Become a member of the Stonecutters I Call the Big One Bitey: Become the monorail conductor King of the World: Jump the Springfield Gorge My Name is Homer Simpson Mr. Burns does not survive the game
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
robbiecon & Earthling
Some notes: Homer gained protection from one nightkill when the Springfield Isotopes vote passed. The monorail conductor would grant a busdriver ability (to any player chosen). If Homer jumped the Gorge (using Bart's skateboard) the night phase would be skipped - all other actions canceled as the town turned out to watch him, and he would be hospitalized.
Victory Condition:Monorail Victory : Ensure construction of the Monorail. As a Neutral you are not part of the town but you are not hostile to them. Personal Goal: Innocent (Springfieldian) victory is attained.
Abilities: Burst Into Song: It might take some effort to get the people of Springfield to vote in favor of the monorail. Construction of the monorail will be up to vote as the first Day’s Decision. A majority of all Living players must vote in favor for the monorail to be constructed – note this is not a majority of all players who cast votes, it’s a majority of all Living players even if some don’t vote either way.
If the vote does not pass, twice more during the game you may put the monorail decision up to vote again. PM me at night to use this ability and the monorail vote will come up again the next day.
After completion of the monorail additional effects may come into play.
Items: None
Background:
You’re a travelling salesman who has made a name in the monorail business. You’ve sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook and it put them on the map. Surely you can convince the people of Springfield to build one, unless it’s really more of a Shelbyville thing…
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!

landlubber/Itchy
Spoiler:
Player: landlubber Character: Professor John Frink Faction: Springfieldian (Innocent)
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Have at least five of your creations tested out
Abilities: Invention: Each night you may experiment and create something new. Your invention will then appear as an item in your possession. Due to the experimental nature and your ethical responsibility you cannot put these potentially dangerous items up to public vote nor give them away freely. However, if you can get another player to agree (message me in a PM) to accept one of your inventions then you can give it to them to test.
Any player including yourself may spend a night activating one of your inventions. Remember that if you take the time to test your own invention you can’t use another action at night.
Items: None for now
Background: You are Professor John Frink, a brilliant yet eccentric scientist hailing from Springfield. You spend most of your time working on your inventions and its only in a crisis like this you’d be seen interacting with the rest of the town, rather than being spotted in the background piloting your hovercar, chasing escaped monkeys, or resenting Gordon Moore for his prediction that mostly came true while yours did not.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
robbiecon & Earthling
BUT WAIT A MINUTE, YOU ARE REALLY
Spoiler:
Character: Itchy Faction: Itchyite
Victory Condition: Survive to see the Scratchyian faction eliminated. Note that survival for you, as a cartoon character, differs from survival for other players. As long as you are not permanently killed you are counted as surviving, hospital/jail status notwithstanding. Personal Goal: Personally kill or vote to lynch Scratchy or else survive to the end of the game
Abilities: To Cull a Cult: Each night you may attempt to kill another player. You have a default 100% rate of success against Scratchyian characters without outside factors and will kill them and permanently remove them from the game. Regular human characters will be sent to the hospital, and you have a lower percentage chance of success on such attacks. You may attempt to kill characters who are imprisoned, but this will only work against Scratchyians.
Immunities: You have an absurd hardiness and will survive many different things. You will survive one night attack automatically. Once during the game, you may either escape from jail or spontaneously recover from injuries in the Hospital on your own orders. PM me at night for this ability to occur. After taking these protections into account, any other event that would send you to the hospital will permanently kill you.
Items:
Bombs (3): These Bombs function similarly to the items you would get in your cover role as Professor Frink. However, any attempt to activate the item will cause it to explode and kill or send the player to the hospital.
To other players, your items appear as a Weightless Companion Frinkahedron, Carbon Rod Sequestration Device, and Hamburger Earmuffs. You may not put these items up to vote yourself and must get another player to agree to accept the item in a transfer just as stated with Professor Frink.
Background:
The ultraviolent and ever popular cartoon mouse, you are here solely to inflict terrible pain and suffering on the likes of Scratchy.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!

As long as you are not permanently killed you are counted as surviving, hospital/jail status notwithstanding. Personal Goal: Personally outlive Itchy
Abilities: Recruitment Every even night, starting Night 2, you may recruit a player to your team. Successfully recruited players become cartoon characters just like you for relevant effects. Recruited players are not told your identity but will know they have been recruited. It is your choice to reveal details to them as you think appropriate. The exception is your first recruit who will be told your identity and will become a second in command who may continue recruiting in case of your death.
First Night Immunity: You are immune to being nightkilled the first night. Items: None
Background:
You are a beloved cartoon character from a worldwide franchise centered in Springfield. Unfortunately you are also the constant victim of terrible violence. This time, you hope to survive.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Successfully arrest at least two criminals.
Abilities: Investigation: Each night you may investigate a player to determine if they have engaged in criminal activity and the police have cause for an arrest. Items: None
Police Department: You are a member of the Springfield PD along with civplayah – Chief Wiggum, who may set up a police perimeter and watch over players at night, and Yoshiegg737 – Eddie, who may block other players’ actions. You may communicate on a quicktopic here if you wish. Due to standard police protocol you are forbidden from revealing your internal communications to others. (do not give this link to other players, publicly or privately. If you reveal your Role PM publicly, remove the quicktopic link.)
Background:
You are one of Springfield’s senior police officers. You are known for being an effective and all around upstanding citizen.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Victory is achieved when members of your faction outnumber all other players in the “Alive” category at any time or equal the number of other players alive at the beginning of a Day Phase. Personal Goal: Do not get sent to jail at any point during the game. That would be a black mark on your career even if you get out of the “misunderstanding.”
Abilities: Investigation: Each night you may investigate a player to determine if they have engaged in criminal activity and the police have cause for an arrest.
Also, note that the actions and responsibilities of the Springfield Police Department mentioned in your cover Role PM are real.
Team Ability: Frame: While underhanded and unethical, you and your allies have come up with a brilliant plan to resolve this crisis, remove uncooperative elements in the town and restore dignity and truth once and for all.
Each night one member of your team may frame another player with criminal evidence, making them eligible for police arrest. This ability is in place of another night action. Items: None
Background:
The unconscionable corruption rife in Springfield’s government and various public services has become too much for you. Of course you’re not the type of man to outright betray his fellows but something had to be done, so you first got in touched with other concerned citizens to discuss Springfield’s past and future. Now, the current crisis calls for action and you may have to do unsavory things to make sure everything turns out all right in the end. Fortunately, you now have trustworthy allies outside of the woefully incompetent police department to help you out.
Teammates: Your allies in the Sprungfeld Mafia are Takhisis – The Sea Captain, Autolycus – Lindsay Naegle, and mechaerik – Lisa Simpson. I have created a quicktopic for you to communicate if you wish here

robbiecon & Earthling
Some notes: Lisa's scan was a flavor scan that provided clues to the character identity of the player she scanned. Children would consistently come up as "naive" and odd roles like Scratchyians were also meant to sound "off." Like other scans, didn't go through official cover in any effective way.
Takhisis/The Sea Captain
Spoiler:
Player: Takhisis Character: The Sea Captain Faction: Springfieldian (Innocent)
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Prevent an attack on an Innocent player.
Abilities: Lost at Sea: It’s a wonder why anyone would involve themselves on a venture with you around, given your eccentric history and propensity for accidents. Still, you somehow manage to convince people to come along on expeditions or journeys at sea. Perhaps if another novel form of transportation became popular in town that would no longer be the case, but for now, you may abduct a player each night, simultaneously roleblocking them and blocking all other actions on them. Items: None

Teammates: Your allies in the Shelbyville Mafia are NinjaCow64 –Milhouse from Shelbyville, GamezRule – Bort from Shelbyville, and Verarde– The Squeaky-Voiced Teen. I have created a quicktopic for you to communicate if you wish here
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!

NinjaCow64/Milhouse from Shelbyville
Spoiler:
Player: NinjaCow64 Character: Milhouse Van Houten Faction: Springfieldian (Innocent)
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Personal Goal: Acquire the Bonestorm game. It will grant you an additional ability the average player will not receive.
Abilities: Van Houten Scan: You may scan a player to determine if they are one of your parents. Items: none
Background:
You are a child who attends Springfield Elementary. Your parents Kirk and Luann are somewhat overprotective, to the point of hiring a tutor for you even when school was out due to strikes. It worries you when recently their relationship has been strained and they talk of a divorce.
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: Eliminate all hostile forces. Victory is achieved when members of your faction outnumber all other players in the “Alive” category at any time or equal the number of other players alive at the beginning of a Day Phase. Personal Goal: Personally outlive Bart Simpson, a troublesome youth who is a primary enemy of Shelbyville.
Abilities: Reconnaissance: Each night you may scan a player for items
Team Ability: Nightkill: Each night one member of the Shelbyvillain team may carry out an attack on another player in place of another night action. As a child, Milhouse (player) may not perform this ability. Items: None
Background:
You are a boy named Milhouse from Shelbyville. You’ve been swept up in this scheme to take revenge on Shelbyville’s longtime rivals in Springfield. Unfortunately as a child you have the most limited role on your team but your cover as your counterpart from the town of Springfield will prove especially useful.
Teammates: Your allies in the Shelbyville Mafia are Verarde – The Squeaky-Voiced Teen, GamezRule – Bort from Shelbyville, and DaveShack – The Capital City Goofball. I have created a quicktopic for you to communicate if you wish here
Feel free to ask any questions about your role. Good Luck!
Victory Condition: When Doves Cry You achieve victory if you and the other Milhouse are 2 of the final 5 or fewer players in the “Living” category at any time and a mutually exclusive victory is not achieved. Your victory is mutually exclusive to the victories of the town and mafia factions. Personal Goal: At least one other member of the Shelbyville mafia survives to the final phase
Abilities: Reconnaissance: Each night you may scan a player for items
Team Ability: Resourcefulness – once during the game, either you or Milhouse of Springfield may choose to leave the hospital or escape from jail. The player who is in the jail or hospital may PM me at night to use this ability.
Restrictions: Private Communication Limitation
DO NOT BREAK THIS RULE. ALWAYS KEEP IT IN MIND OR THERE WILL BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES
Being children unfortunately can make it hard to get about and do things you might have the freedom to do were you adults.
You and the other Milhouse (johnhughthom) currently may not communicate to each other privately in any way, including PMs, chat, setting up your own quicktopic or sending quicktopic links to each other, or any other methods. You may post on the game thread and communicate to other players in private as per the rules.
An exception to note is that if you can convince another living player to relay private discussions between you (you may never include each other in the PM recipient line, and recall the rules on Quoting and Forwarding PMs) that behavior is legal.
This restriction will be lifted whenever Mr. Van Houten and Principle Skinner both are in a category other than “Living,” or at least two of Milhouse of Shelbyville’s mafia allies are the same.
Understand that one of the purposeful reasons for this restriction is to prevent Milhouse of Shelbyville giving away his mafia teammates. DO NOT BREAK THIS RULE
Items: None

Let's all forget each other annoying each other make up! YAY!!!
The one thing I could say though was the lack of NKs. In the future, maybe randomising the kills would help if nobody was killing. Saying that though, that was a fantastic game in terms of everything and you should be proud guys.
THIS IS A COMPLETELY SERIOUS AND OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YOUR MAFIA QUEUE HOST:
Verarde hospitalized you the first time. He poisoned you and you got out three days later. I did it the second time, leaving you permanently hospitalized.
edit: Here is the Shelbyville QT for those too lazy to read the PM's.
Starting in jail and staying there after first two days had strong demotivational effect on me. I do not know if other players would be as demotivated as I was, but in my opinion that was almost inevitable.
After that, even after my release, I did not regain interest in the game. So, all this interesting features meant nothing for me. I think that putting player in a jail at a beginning of the game was a poor idea.
I do not want to be harsh, I am talking only about my case
