Upon further review, and in accordance with what I have done with the others regarding core investment, I have allocated your 4IC towards the coring of the province. When you get to 5 Factories, you'll just have to invest the remainder to get to the 50% of total IC at that time.

Battles

The German Reich sought to capitalize on their neighbor’s demise and sent their entire army to capture the province of France. While this was a sound idea, the implementation of it was fairly convoluted. The new recruits showed up ready to fight, but the veteran forces were disorganized and lacked the proper equipment. While they did manage to launch an offensive attack into France, they were repelled by the local militia defending their homes.

As the German forces were retreating back into Germany, Quebecois diplomats could be seen talking to the jubilant local leaders. As night fell the great flag of Quebec was raised over the lands of France. It seems that in this case the pen was mightier than the sword.

New Caledonia
Bandits are wreaking havoc in Colombian farmlands.

  • Option 1: We need that food. Do whatever it takes to deal with those bandits - spend 8 IC
  • Option 2: Dispatch some of our troops to hunt down these bandits - send armies and 25% chance of a stability drop
  • Option 3: We are too busy to be bothered. Leave the matter to the local authorities. (Banditry may continue) - lose 1 city

In an effort to get another update out in a timelier manner, if there are no declarations of war I should be able to update on Thursday night. Otherwise I’ll likely have to wait until Monday again. I know this is a quick turn around, so let me know if this poses any hardship on your ability to get orders in. Note I am shortening the initial DOW phase this update to better accommodate the timing of this update.

The House of Bonaparte was once more on the throne of France itself. The Empire of the French was no longer confined to Quebec; and so it was acknowledged. The "in Quebec" was dropped, and a new flag was designed; the revolutionary tricolor charged with the coat of arms of the House of Bonaparte.

Shocking News! The Greatest Scandal in all of history! The instance of government corruption that could kill us all! How is the president using his funds?!



This is Madras Times with breaking News. Today our correspondents went into the treasury and found a shocking discovery. 5 IC has been wasted. The money was produced by hard working factory workers in Madras. It was ment to go toward financing Bombay. It was passed as part of the Bombay integration act. The government promised a shocking 5 factories to the people of Bombay, to celebrate the integration. These 5 IC were ment to integrate Bombay, however the fate of this money is one of fine print and government corruption in its most blatent form.

Several days after, the Ganges act was passed, giving the Ganges 6 IC. As part of the fine print of that bill, the 5 IC were sent to factories in Bengal instead, despite owning near nothing of the region. Why? Because the president wanted the money for himself.

Since there is no Province of Bengal, only the Bengal Teritory, the financial center returned the money streight to the president. Then the president and the head of the financial center split the difference and robbed our country of 1/2 of its anual income. Do not vote for this corrupt president. He has come to rob the nation.

How much stability impact will have the execution of a king, the creation of a republic, a coup 2 weaks after the republic and a miltimary junta installed ?
 
Probably in the neighborhood of -50% chance for a drop, depending how long it goes.
