Subdued giant squid can explore FoW and go into ocean tiles before Astronomy - is this intended?

It shouldn't but then you shouldn't be able to encounter one until Astronomy either. I'll have a look tomorrow, which is in 45 minutes so I better get to bed.;)

Do the tower defenses damage adjacent enemy units for vanilla v19 and the 12-16-2011 .dll patch?

Lets put it this way:

Koshling has and is gone for 6 - 8 weeks.

DH - was gone for 2 weeks, and he will be in and out for the holidays.

Hydro - is gone for two weeks, but might be in and out also.

AIAndy: has been gone for 2 weeks, in and out also.

The rest of the "team" will be only in and out also for the holidays, mainly OUT.

StrategyOnly's, Mom died last week, so i am in and out also.

As you can see, you got to give some of "us" a break, ok, and thx, for i hope understanding everyone, sorry for the slow thread's lately.:(

Ugh... only saw this section after posting in the Common Error/Crash section, so bear with me while I edit, copy/past, and move stuff ;)

Playing vanilla C2C V19, came across some issues:
1) The Bomber will not upgrade into the B52 Strategic Bomber. I can build both, in the same city even, but I can't upgrade bomber to strategic bomber despite what the Civilopedia states.
2) The B52 Strategic Bomber won't bomb defenses. I can "Air-Strike" and attack units to my hearts content, but I can't bomb city defenses. This is also despite what the Civilopedia states. *EDIT* To elaborate, the B52 cannot perform any bombing missions, either of defenses, or of any the other missions allowed under "Advanced Air Bombing": buildings, production, et al. It seems someone flipped a switch under the XML ;)
3) More of a minor annoyance then anything, but once I have access to "Special Agents" I can't build regular "Agent" until I've already got the national limit of 5 Special Agents in play. I can only surmise this is due to a combination of Agents upgrading into Special Agents, and a RoM/BUG/AND setting of not showing replace/obsolete/et al units. Not a major issue, but perhaps Special Agents could be turned into their own breed, with nothing upgrading into them?
4)*EDIT* Also, would it be possible to add a splash of color or something to either the Railroad or Electric Railroad improvements? Otherwise they are exactly alike in appearance and impossible to tell the difference at a glance of the main map without hovering the cursor over the plot in question and bringing up the tooltip.
5)I'll have to double check, but I believe there were 2 different kinds of early roads that were exactly alike in benefit, but one variant cost 1:gold: to build.

Other than those few items, so far so good. I'm playing on a Huge European map made in the pre-C2C days so I don't have all the new fangled terrain at the moment but otherwise no big issues. Victory Settings are for Diplomatic or Scientific Victory, I'm hoping to push for Science, I'm in the Modern Era at the moment, but due to the land:water ratio being so skewed and starting in Prehistoric, my save game is pushing 3.3MB, and usually I start to have CTD issues around 2.5MB.
 
Couple bugs I have noticed. SVN is from 2-3 day ago.

Maya culture resource requires "culture(Mongol)"?
Pumpkin does not show up on resource list and has issues with pink square graphics at times.

The pumpkin, squash and melon resources are visible and workable at gathering but wont show in the resource list until plough/plow. "We" really need to look at what we want to do with these and the new gem resources.

At lower than highest graphics settings they are pink. I need to get onto the artist that made them.
 
Two problems one I need to do more work on.

First image has a % sign in the score board area Spanish. I though that error had been fixed as it can lead to CTDs.

Second and third images show the font problem again. I forgot to highlight the area under the city where the religion icons should be. The Civic Screen shows that the text fonts are also screwed up. I added 5 new icons to the gamefont_75 file and referenced them in the art defines. I will do some adding and subtracting to see if I can get nearer to what/when this happens.

There is no point me giving you a save game at the moment as I have many changes that I am doing a final check on. :(
 
Regarding the strange fog of war (you can see seemingly random areas that you have not explored):

It happens when I regenerate the map. The areas that are left revealed are the coordinates of my starting location(s) from the previous map(s) before regenerating.

No screens or saves, but it's an easily repeatable bug.
 
Okay so I just installed and was able to do a Play Now! for duel size. Then, every game afterward gets a CTD while loading, immediately after "Initializing Graphics" displays. I have tried a dozen permutations of Play Now and Custom games with various sizes and options turned on/off. Nada. Any ideas?

Never had a major problem/bug with C2C, except with v19 in modern - where I get a freeze now and then if scrolling the map too long around. Not reproducable though.

Further to my post on font problems here. When the name of the Spanish civ changed the religion icons under the city started working. The health and fort icons are still wrong.:crazyeye:
 
Figured out what the issue was with the maya/mongol culture. The "building" and the resource they represented got mixed up.

Also with current SVN change the viper has a LOOOOONG white line from it and in certain areas of the map its just plain white and like a 70's Disco Ball (at the top)but only in certain places on the map.????:eek: see pic2 and 3, its really messing up now badly.

Can't even play now:sad:

Fixed the missing schema.

The viper stuff I get on any unit. That is what I call the "laser glitch". Save exit and load.

Cant send a copy of it:sad:, because i added a new civ in my mod, and was testing it out. Never had it before this last SVN ???

Guess i will just have to revert back to the older SVN to get it working correctly again.

OK here's is what i did, i reverted each one of what you changed, back to the original you had before, and found out after loading a few times, it ALL stems from the SubdueAnimals.py, so that is your game breaker there.
