As the oceans began to rise & Antarctica became habitable, he purchased a large chunk of land on the continent, commissioned the construction of a private fleet, & evacuated a large percentage of Hawaii’s remaining population to Antarctica. Once there, the people declared a Federal Republic, and Iakepa Holokai, the man who had saved them all, was elected their new President.

They had already been eyeing a piece of the continent for years before, and had established small outposts. But now, almost the whole country moved to these lands, and established the Monarchy of New Norway on the shores of Queen Maud's Land.
