The Wild Wild West: A Small Mafia Game

1) I said I was not a joker, and why; the usual response to "I'm unlynchable" is- This guy is a mafioso, lynch him. Or, This guy is a joker, don't lynch him. I'm not a joker, and I wouldn't post that post I posted (posty posty post with Post cereal as I cross-post with other posters at the post office) if I were a Joker because it's not an interesting way to win.

2) I do not have any other abilities however I am more than willing to lynch the person that you need lynched Zack. Zack attack. Zack daddy. Zack and Jill went up the hill.

3) Yes I need to PM the game host to survive the lynch.

4) I actually wouldn't do that. If you were to waste your time lynching me, forcing you to have to use up two days to do that is anti-town. But if I were so inclined I could survive a lynch.

Yeah.

atpg unvote

I'm still curious why a townie would have a self-lynch stopper (you give no indication that it's a general "call off the lynch").

but that's cleared up for now; I can't do anything except be more wrong.

Let's say today we didn't have good consensus on a target. Well, we could avoid a mislynch, by using me to essentially "no lynch" today.

Mafia generally do not have lynch-surviving abilities unless townies do. The reasons why they don't should be obvious, especially to you folks who played Sigurd's Star Wars or Seamus' Capo IV.

So, me saying I can survive a lynch generally increases the odds I get lynched for folks assuming I'm full of it, or folks who want to prove it, or for whatever reason. It moved, kill it. Etc.

In my mind, that should be a clear signal that I'm not mafia, and there are no jokers in this game. So I'm a townie that can dodge the lynch, which is not that useful an ability because it just means I can be lynched again and waste some time.

My question is, if I have such a power, would you assume that others in this game might have abilities that can sway the lynch? Let's say for example, a double-voter or a vote switcher.

One thing that I could see a use for, is if in an endgame situation, the mafia tried to force my death by lynch and I survived and then there weren't enough dead townies to end the game... then it would be useful. But the odds of that situation happening are long and the claim itself is not credible unless the person claiming is under zero pressure. At least that's what I think.

So I figured I should claim now, because the claim is worse than useless later on if I am under pressure. It could actually be anti-town to use the ability in the first place, and claiming it under pressure is dubious.

Also I technically have time to scum-hunt now but I just moved into my apartment and I have no bed or chairs yet. I'm at the computer and the computer is on the kitchen counter. I do my better thinking when I'm reclining and munching on Doritos.

Oh. Yes, I can stop a lynch on any of you guys too.

But, having no knowledge of who is guilty or innocent, why in the world would I do that? That's even scummier than self-saving. At least I know I'm innocent.

It would take a fantastical tale of awesome epicness for me to reverse a town lynch on a suspect. That just leads to a cluster of bleepity bleep where they try to lynch em again, and me afterward.

So yeah, completely useless ability.

I have no new information so I am left pick between what other people have said, and at the moment I see no strong cases.

In this case Jarrema mostly for my own safety and hoping to have him either make a case against me or switch his vote off of me (if I dont vote for someone with a vote on them I think I am in a tie for first)

Why do you want him to make a case against you? Do you feel defeat would be easier to swallow if perhaps you were given a chance to refute the reasoning presented?

"I don't mind losing if..." syndrome.

Vote: j65536d
for flinching, and having an atrocious name. That more than your guilt is the reason you must die.

I want him to make a case against me because that I can refute, as you say, you were given such a chance and were able to sway kennigit, I am left with a vote on me that may get me killed (we have very few voting), I would rather die based on logic than randomness.

Townies should focus on offense, not defense. The reasons why they die are because mafia killed them or their teammates guessed wrong.

Defense usually doesn't help. Post your suspects. I've been a lazy bum and I've done more offense than you this round.

END OF DAY 5

The town wasn't quite sure of what they had concluded that day. A few were calling for Jarrema to be hung, and a couple called for j65536d to be hung.

Finally, the town decided that their voting was inconclusive.

"j65536d, what say you?" asked the mayor.

j65536d looked surprised. "Me? How could you accuse me?"

"Well, you were awfully flinchy earlier."

"So?"

"That's enough for me to say that you should be the one to be lynched!"

The rest of the town then agreed, at least the town that was awake. Half of them were asleep!

Some men wrestled j65536d into submission and led him up to the gallows, when suddenly

Two armed men with masks and hats that concealed their identities appeared! They beat up the men holding j65536d, and got him to his feet.

"You'll never take me alive, town! Not as long as my men are around! They'll protect me no matter what!"

Spoiler :
j65536d was rescued from being lynched by some mysterious men!

They disappeared into the fading light, and the mayor groaned.

"We almost had their leader! No matter, town! We will uncover the identities of his henchmen and bring them all to justice! Stay safe tonight!"

Spoiler Vote Tally :

Jarrema - 3 (DaveShack, j65536d, choxorn)

er wow I thought there was another day. where did today go (rhetorical)?

Oooh. Well looks like I'm not the only one up in here that can affect who gets lynched.

Mine is a stop lynch, not a vote switcher.

Well
I will say that I am a double-voter... and that my vote must have lead to a draw

Do you think it's the obvious DaveShack or choxorn, or did his henchmen not even bother to vote today, hoping they wouldn't have to flinch to save him?

Also, if there's a doctor, could you protect Jarrema? My ability is useless, his is not.

Unless you feel like rolling some dice because after I said that, the odds of me being hit went up, so.... there's a good chance you stop a murder there too.
