The Year is 2158.

Tensions remain high between the Comintern and the world, with Communist nations convinced the UN has failed and cannot serve the interests of humanity as a whole rather Hawai'i and its allies. That the emergency actions amendment has failed means the organisation is increasingly more of a judicial than legislative power.

The bloody Takrur Affair has ended, technically as a white peace but with losses heavily slanted towards the Angolan side and the Angolan government even having been replaced.

Meanwhile, the Finnish Civil War escalates with hundreds of thousands of deaths in just two years of fighting alone.

TF's Tips:

-If you post in the thread after the update, I WILL count you as having given orders. Why? Because if you're capable of posting witty banter, you could at least give some vague orders in the event the lock occurred. Failing to do so is 100% on you. :p

-It is more useful to invest all in one tech than equally divide it, as you'll get the benefit from a completed tech immediately.

-Empires will start to rupture at turn's end if weak enough. For this to happen, you must have only 25% more income than a client. Former clients (usually) show interest in remaining friendly, but will relegate your relationship to a mere alliance. If a radical regime is in power, however, they will usually instead try to form alliances, or may even try to break off other clients to form one.

-Winning battles, repulsing enemy spies or successful Black Ops will upgrade your relevant technology. This represents experience.

-Supporting one side in the Finnish Civil War could help you accumulate allies in the long run.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO DISBAND MILITARIES. This converts your units back into population.

Air forces and navies can now be bought individually for 0.2 population and 1 gold. Why the heck not.

Disbanding a military unit gives you back the population but not the gold.

This is useful as it lets you convert your army back into units capable of generating income.
