To Jack Churchill the Giantslayer

You have done a great evil. The Yellow Plague spread not through contact like a normal disease, but from disbelief. Emeresan has looked for the Faithful in Jassar, and finding none he cured none. Now you have condemned this disease, born from the Chaos, to spread throughout the known world!

You may claim it to be an invasion, but I did nothing but try to save the World from the chaos.

Now that he knows that Mallatain does not wish to be saved, he will focus his efforts on those more willing to be freed from the horror that is the plague.

Nice job breaking it, "Hero".

From Lord Logar, Former Chief of Mudwood Manor, Chosen of Emeresan

OOC: I am assuming knowledge via stories and stats are OOC. Confirmation?

EDIT: Mudwood Manor is a deliberate allusion to another northern chaotic player.

Story from last update posted in thread

"The bog serpent knows well his friends and enemies chief, your actions will be greatly rewarded, for they show true faith in It That Lives Under The Bog."
And from the mirky depths bellow, a viper came and turned into a wooden staff in the hands of its new master...

Murok looked at his new weapon and tool and saw the mirky plans of the Serpent with a sharp clarity available only to a few. With a wave of the staff, he sank under the quagmire, to what fate awaited him. And as the tribe stood shocked, a great tempel rose, out of the stones and wood of the swamp and the belongings of the nonbelievers. And Murok reappeared on the roof of the great structure, his eyes glowing green like those of Sakarlisk and a dark fang placed upon his staff.
"The bog serpent has granted you great power for your devotion, in this temple you shall learn how to use it..."
Many things passed before the eyes of Murok, from a dark land far to the west, many leagues from here, a great serpent slithered. A sea churned in uncertainty. A bright flash created a certainty in lands to the east as the pancreator rose, but soon that light was darkened as the orderly world was without its creator. He saw how a small swamp grew and how its people came here. He saw Sakarlisk, rising from the bog. He saw the land of the lady to the east. Finally, he saw a great temple rising from the bog and his tribe bowed before it. He saw It That Lives Under The Bog and he knew. He knew what the great plan was. He knew, what a glorious part he will play, in bringing the great swamp to the world. He saw the sacrifice of nobelievers in the tar pits and Sakarlisk, standing before a great city as its temple fell and the rocks of the temple formed into a great head, that of It That Lives Under The Bog. The fog lifted and the dark fang upon his staff reflected his green eyes, like burning gasses from under the great swamp.

To be continued...

Lord Logar,

We have no use for your blatant lies and false beliefs. This disease is magical in origin and so magic can solve it. We do not need the help of a pretender to cure your plagues. Go find someone else willing to listen to your bullsh*t, you'll find none here.

If you had asked or demonstrated your 'cure' within the quarantine then no-one would have had to have died. Instead you tried to break a quarantine that was stopping the advance of the disease and in doing so doomed many good men to a slow death. If you had the power to cure the disease you should have done so within the quarantine, not tried to expose the larger population to this plague.

How is Ermor so rich !!!! And here I thought I was doing pretty darn well.

OOC: I am assuming knowledge via stories and stats are OOC. Confirmation?
Stat knowledges are IC. That's why there are private stats. You basically know where leaders are unless they are tagged (?) and have ideas of how strong other countries economies are and how much they spend on their military.
Hero listing may also not be complete in public stats. I also reduced the information about projects, partly to keep it manageable, partly because costs don't have to be known.
Stories can be IC or OOC depending on the story, up to everyone to judge on the context.

What would Mudwood Manor be? I miss the northern chaotic player point, particularly considering that you know none in chaos north of you.

Of course, a powerful being isn't completely chained by its believers. What do you expect, a miracle on demand? Is your pretender so weak that she must stoop that low to keep the faith of her people? The very fact that they are able to walk is the lowest dregs of their grace, and you shall see within a few days how many survivors the yellow plague leave of your precious archers. That should be reason enough.

I do not have the power to cure any disease, I can halt it, but it taxes what little strength I have, and I can only do it for a few. Emeresan can cure diseases, infact, he cured mine because he saw that I can be his prophet. Good men will die BECAUSE you refused me.

And I agree that the disease is magical in nature... it is from the deepest depths of the Chaos, the ancient backlash against the Pantocrator's sacrifice has attacked in this form, and now, thanks to you, it has an opening. You think you are safe because you are careful to avoid those who are sick? You think?

That's right, you don't think at all.

Go and pray for help, I'm sure Cassiopia will go and pat you on your shoulder every time because she is that kind of a pretender seeking to be a god, one who babies you like a nanny... Oh wait? Aren't you guys supposed to be independent? Then why do you expect every prayer and everything to go your way?

Simply idiotic.

Logar of the Beasts

My lady doesn't expect or demand the Malliatain or anyone else to worship her. If they do so it is of their own volition. If they die they die as free men, not bound to any being claiming godhood.

Far fewer then would have died if I had let you through. The problem is contained now and will remain that way unless some foolish beast who claims godhood decides that they should test Malliatain steel.

An opening you tried to tear so wide that thousands, maybe even tens of thousands, would've died before a cure was devised. I don't doubt that you would have seen this as some sort of holy cleansing of the unfaithful, but I personally would prefer that a few dozen beasts die.

If you have nothing more to add then the simplistic musings of a confused animal then I must bid you farewell.

See you soon

To Jack Churchill

The only thing you shall see is death.

First, death of the thousands of bordermen you abandoned.

Then, death of men in your army as your archers dies and the plague spreads.

Then, death of the world as the chaos once more try to buck the bonds created by Her Sacrifice.

All in service of a weak pretender. One who doesn't expect worship. One who doesn't respond to worship. One who cries for independence. One who, by mere existence, causes dependence. Once who teaches ability. Once who by existence shows disability. That is who you serve.

Farewell, for we shall never meet again.

To Taernsvwyn:

Our looms are hard pressed preparing for the upcoming tournament. Linen would be a welcome commodity.

Come one, come all!

To all those gifted with the bow, Valewood beckons. Held in honor of the late Lord Calvin, legendary bowman of the house of Tyral, a great festival shall begin in honor of all those skilled with the bow, lasting three sunrises and three sunsets. There will be much feasting, sport, and revelry for all involved. All kingdoms are invited to send their best archers to partake in the grand tournament, where their honor will be tested, their skills judged, and their marksmanship challenged in a series of competitions worthy of the house of Tyral. Hector II himself shall be present, along with any royalty who wish to partake in the affair.

Schuetzenfest_Gallen-2.jpg

The tourney will be challenging, but the rewards great. The competitors will be held in high regard by the Alacron court, with the three greatest recognized by title. The champion archer will be honored most highly, and will be rewarded a most sacred relic. Created by Ezio the Unseen himself and guarded by his closest followers, it will be a prize worthy of the greatest archer of the land.

Please note that the kingdom of Falaxan is considered neutral in all current conflicts. All warring between competing nations will cease within the lands protected by the Alacron family.

Spoiler :
I'm holding an archery tourney! Send me a PM describing who you want to send if you want to send someone (story purposes).

OOC: I would much prefer PMs over Email for orders, so unless PMs are really problematic, can I use them?

You can use PMs. It's just a pain for me as PMs require about much more time to process than mails and I'll have to wipe them out whereas I can store all mails without problem.

orders submitted.

Orders a ſented.

Sorry, I can't make orders this week. I spent all of my free time on an application essay for Copenhagen University, which kinda should be prioritized. Please NPC me.

Same here, I've been devoid of free time recently.

Sorry, I'm writing my orders now and will have them sent within an hour. I forgot the time difference between here and there >.<

By the way, the archery tourney is postponed until I can write some more stories. I'm waaaay behind in this thing.

Crap sorry orders will be in tomorrow, finals threw me for a loop.
