Pre-Thread For A Civ IV S&T Project

Sounds good to me. We will not have anything like raging barbarians though; I'd like to get out of the Classical Era, and I imagine everyone else does as well.
 
Raging barbarians would be ridiculous, especially if a Militaristic Barbarian nation organized herself right next to your border ;)

In all seriousness, we start next month indeed, and if not, over the summer interim, and I advise everyone to play a few games on different maps and options, to see how they like it.
 
I would suggest AIM, chatongo, or something else of the sort. Myself, I prefer AIM, but it all depends on what everyone would rather have.
 
I'm going to say a Chatango chat will work best, no installation should be required, and it should be quite nice. This is still planned to do, I will send out PM's a week before the start date so that everyone can be ready.
 
I just tried running Neoteric World and there's this BUG error thing that keeps popping up all the time, although the game seems to run perfectly fine. Have any ideas what I could do to fix it?

Hmm, what problem do you seem to be experiencing here? I can look up how to fix it if I know what it is.

Could it be that you have turned on logging for DoC but this mod doesn't support it?
 
Dawn, are you using Vista with the Neoteric World mod? That's the most common thing I can think that this would be.
