Just north of the five tentacle islands is a island with lots of southward pointing peninsulas. If possible, there will be a lake with a tiny island in the center (future volcanic caldera).

From space, it looks like a Mind Flayer.

Top half is all land.
Bottom half is to have stretchy east-west small lakes (that look line like) scattered here and there (between 4-7). I will draw if you don't get it well enough

I5: A high mountain with a spring at the top, water falls flowing down each side into a great lake. From this lake will flow 4 rivers in all the cardinal locations.

A simply massive set of cliffs on the south-eastern side of F5. That is, water in the NW, huge cliffs and land in the SE. Chakra the God of the Vine has seen fit to place his ENDLESS harvest grapes and olives on this huge pseudo-mountain.

I don't think cliffs are needed yet, just land vs. water. At least that's what I understood. (Cliffs are more mountain-like for second phase).

Cliffs are OK since they're basically coast, not sure how I'll show them on the map though.

Edit: @SK: Can I put X'ryk'zyx down as the god of insanity? (with that spelling so I'm less confused)

it's a hand drawn map. You could actually make it look cliff like.

Also - you can make thicker line, or line with little lines going out of it to describe height.

Oh, I'm aware of the options. I'm just not sure how some of them will turn out using a 0.5 ink pen. Mostly thinking aloud really.

Hey BTW I like the hand-drawn aspect, it makes it look so much better than mine. Are you going to keep it that way into the NES proper?

Yeah, I am. I'll probably do some computer-generated layers for various things in the game that I'll want to switch around, but that's pretty much it.

These two orders conflict. I've done Terrance's since it was first, but in future could people please check both the map (for land/sea restrictions) and previous orders from the current turn? Makes my life easier

At this point I've only done the lake and an island. I'm making a note of what you want though, and it may just end up being a special feature (i.e. natural wonder).

To all: Update coming later today, sorry for the delay but I got caught up watching the American Idol final (it screens a day later here). I'll easily find the time to do it though since the map creation update style isn't exactly hugely time-consuming.
