National Saying: Nothing Betterer, Intelligenter or Ultimater (this is what many think the N, B, I and U represent on the national flag. However, they actually represent NinjaCow64 and the three most active members of the Formatting Crew)

Australia was in disarray during the Trollacaust because all Australians are actually trolls. However, something saved them.

A man with the very strange name of NinjaCow64 seemingly came out of nowhere and used manipulation and supernatural powers to establish the situation in Australia. The supernatural powers are apparently given to him by a group of transdimesional beings only known as "The Formatting Crew". The powers he used seem to have limits, he can fire bursts of energy, however, use of this power leaves this man drained and it is not useful against large groups of people. He also apparently has an incredible liver, thought the truth of this claim is known only to NinjaCow64. These transdimensional beings have never been witnessed by anyone, NinjaCow64 talks to them out loud. If you did not know him you would simply dismiss him as insane, however he has become a master at manipulating the Australian public. It is rumoured that NinjaCow64 is a trasndimesional being as well, however,no one knows except the man in question.

Australia is officially a democracy, however, NinjaCow64 secretly manipulates every decision that the government makes. The only people who know the truth of the EFC are the hidden ruling elite of the country. We will now describe the different social classes that this country has, in order from least impact on policy to most impact on policy.

Citizens:

Citizens have similar rights to Australians in 2012, perhaps even more rights. They have the right to free speech, to vote in elections (even though they a fraud) and to make any form of economical choices they desire. In fact, these citizens can do practically anything they want, unless this will harm another human being. However, these people are completely and utterly unaware of the true ruler of the country and how the manipulate the bigger picture.

All citizens are allowed to participate in the faux government, however the lives of politicians are different enough from the citizen "class" that they should have another section in this post.

Politicians:

Almost everyone, included the politicians themselves, believe that they run the country. However, this is not the case. The politicians are part of a giant fraud. The politicians have no power and this fact is hidden from them through an array of measures. First a foremost, an election happens every month, so the politicians expend most of their time, energy and money on campaigning and leave little for policy making. If a politician, or the media, starts to pay more attention to policy than campaigning, some sort of controversy, usually a sex scandal, gets forged and circulated around the media, distracting everyone. If new policy ever gets forwarded by a politician, the ruling group makes every effort to bureaucratically water down the policy until it is insignificant and ineffective in making change.

The Inner Council:

Sometimes a politician or a rich businessman becomes aware of the truth about the true rulers of the nation. Those who discover the truth get given a choice: join the Inner Council or get assassinated. Luckily, the latter option is rarely executed as the benefits of joining the "dark side" are many. There is somewhere between 1000 to 2000 members of the Inner Council. Members of the Inner Council are sworn to secrecy, however, they get unprecedented economical benefits and more influence of public policy than any other person, other than NinjaCow64 himself.

NinjaCow64 and the Formatting Crew:

The true rulers of the nation, NinjaCow64 and the Formatting Crew have almost complete control over the government. Who will succeed after NinjaCow64 is dead is a complete mystery, as he has no children or trusted vice-ruler. However, it is rumoured that NinjaCow64 is immortal, however, along with most information about the nation's mysterious ruler, it cannot be confirmed.

The Falkland Islands - overlooked, ignored, safe. During the turbulence of the previous centuries they had been an outpost of British decency in a world climate of extreme impoliteness. They also harboured a scion branch of the House of Windsor. Following the overthrow of the monarchy in the UK proper the head of the Falklands branch of the Windsors quietly declared himself King George XII, as the new government wasn't paying attention to the South Atlantic he got away with it. It wasn't until the Tollocaust came that the Falklands resumed prominence on the world stage. In the aftermath of that spat the reigning queen, Elizabeth IV, convinced the islands parliament to rename her realm New Britain and, in a mild fit of pique garnished with irony, invade Tierra del Fuego and what was once Argentina.
