And as to NPC's, I vote a largely Balenced Distribution. Although TBH, I don't really care as long as they aren't right on top of me.

That wasn't an update, Farsight.
Here's the first draft of NPCs, no fancy colours since they're not fixed yet. They start with 3 territories each, giving a slight handicap at the start, and I'll also consciously restrain them if they're acting a little too aggressively relative to neighbour players.
That's 20 NPCs to 34 PCs, although these are only the initial set, and more will manifest within the first few turns. They're not official, and starting claims by any new players (i.e. tailless if he rejoins us in the next few hours) take precedence. Politics won't be determined until the first turn.
I wouldn't mind a Neo-Sengoku myself.

Angola is in Europe? I know Poland may be in North Africa, but that seems like a typo. Also, from a biased point of view, I think North America is crowded enough without any NPC's.
