Capto Iugulum

Friends, we have been asked to encourage you to release the Brazilian admiral Buzatto from your custody. We request a timetable in which this could be accomplished, and are willing to enter talks with Rome as to how best this can be achieved in the immediate or near future. We of course appreciate your forthcoming aid in helping us to meet the obligations of our agreements. Now is as good a time as any to reaffirm our continuing support for the Imperator, and his rightful government.

You are losing tens of thousands of man. What for? Yes, you are advancing, for now. Yet you will not advance for ever. Your manpower will eventually run out as your entire country is slowly being drafted, while the Republic expands and grows. Retreat from our lands before you run out of people.

When the illegal occupation of Milan is ended, then perhaps we can talk of peace.

We would accept if you let the free people of Afghanistan vote on independence.

I thought that was already a given. I clearly stated last year I would do so, 2 years after the war ends, once we have shifted back to peacetime footing. doing so is not dependent on a peace treaty between us. hence it is not one of the terms of the treaty.
*sigh*
though if you want to include it in the formal treaty, go ahead.

Are the new rules for Conscripts active? I had thought they now remained around after the war, but could be converted to infantry for additional cost. I didn't see them in the rules update.

The Brazilian Admiral shall be returned home as soon as possible, if Scandinavia would provide the transport, that would be much appreciated, as we still have pressing matters at home to attend to.

We will gladly provide escort for Admiral Buzatto, so long as it is agreed that he will be escorted to Brazil by means of British transport. We would prefer not to spend time and resources on providing the Admiral escort across the Atlantic ourselves. Under such conditions, we would consider this issue resolved.

I do not accept him being shipped by sea from Rome. Are you trying to kill him? You dirty murderers!

I do not accept him being shipped by sea from Rome. Are you trying to kill him? You dirty murderers!

It is our assumption that all parties currently engaged in the war in the Atlantic will not fire upon a ship bearing any insignia that would identify it as a neutral vessel. If Brazil and her allies are not confident in this assumption, it falls to them to propose a means by which Admiral Buzatto is to be returned to Rio de Janeiro.

He's an Admiral, I hope he has no fear of the sea and, if the unthinkable happens and the ship he is on happens to sink, I hope he can swim. This is by no means a threat, we want him to return home as his family must surely miss him and we have more important domestic matters to concern ourselves with. If you have a better proposition, then let us know.
