What's everyone's opinion on this?

Nailix, that flag has a picture of itself on it. It's recursive, I don't like it with the stuff in the center. I don't like the green either, I don't know what it's supposed to represent.

I thought that this was the flag of Naples, at least the one that was posted in the Pre-thread:



The flags of Genoa and Tuscany both have red and white in them, while Milan was yellow and white quartered with crests in each quarter.

I'd like to see the Fleur-de-Lis in there if possible, because nobody else has it on their flag.

Well, at least that's one thing we can agree on.

My new idea, it has part of the Genoa flag which headed the Italian Republic, the Fleur-de-Lis from the Naples flag, as well as blue, white, yellow and red which is in almost every other flag that made up Italy now.

The only reason Naples has Fleurs-de-lis in its coat of arms is because it was a cadet branch of the French monarchy, which didn't exist at the time, you know.

Brazzaville Accords

1. The Workers Commonwealth and the Kongo Society will agree to the freedom of Scandinavian citizens to travel and trade within both without interference or harassment.

2. The Workers Commonwealth and the Kongo Society will agree to hold a conference with the intention of finding a path to full and complete territorial and sovereign reconciliation in five years time.

3. Neither the Workers Commonwealth nor the Kongo Society will make any agreements or sign any papers that would annul the ability of both to achieve full reconciliation and reunion at that conference.

4. The members of the League of Continental Nations will be invited to put their full authority behind such a conference and agree to assist both parties in ensuring that nothing threatens their ability to hold the conference, and affect a verdict from it.


As a third party, the Confederation is delighted to present the Brazzaville Accords. We are informed that these Accords have already been agreed to freely by both the Workers Commonwealth and the Kongo Colonisation Society. [OOC: although obviously EQ isn't here right now to sign them]. We will support these terms, and in the interim until the Conference, at very least, we duly recognise the Workers Commonwealth as the sovereign authority in Scandinavia proper and the Empire as the sovereign authority in Scandinavia's colonies, and accordingly declare that our defensive alliance now applies to both states.

The League has not yet been invited to participate, but we will encourage them to do so immediately.

Yeah, I like theDright's and Nailix's last idea a lot. Not sure which one is better.

I like that the Italian national colours are going to be red, white and blue in this timeline. Its a nice kind of alt-histroy thing which I don't see very often.
