KIOT I- What is this 'Logic' you speak of?

Sounds fine.

I am compiling a spreadsheet for my own reference listing attributes of the other powers. However, I have no data on the NPCs or One Vision, and almost nothing on the CSA. I also need state religion from Nanyang. This is what I'm looking for:

Capital
Government
State religion
Other various freedoms/restrictions
Currency

I would appreciate if you could get back to me with these as they will affect foreign policy, for better or worse.

Fair Enough.

Additionally, I would like to offer a FTA to the Neo-Papals on both sides of the war.

His Holiness will not trade with you if you trade with the Rebels, while the Rebels will not trade with you if you trade with His Holiness. One or the other.

Horb remains neutral in internal matters such as civil war, and therefore decides to regard the nation as one, still under the control of His Holiness. ;)

Attention world! Invaded by evil savages China must admit that it cannot stand alone against the brutal force that calls itself the Nanyang Republic. We are in need of military support, hopefully in the form of noble nations sending military forces to take down the savages of the Nanyang Republic. If you help us by invading the Nanyang Republic then you will find China ever the most willing to trade with you and even consider you above China in some regard.

With the Premier victim of the dishonourable surprise strike in means of a bomb hitting his car, power is now held by the chief of the military, Grand Marshal Xu Shi. Xu Shi has issued all forces of China to act in honour and attempt to repel the invaders. Death to those who dare disgrace the Chinese name. We will remind the savages that the second rule of war is not to commence a land war in China. Death to the invaders! All hail Xu Shi as he leads us against the evil brutes!

Orders:

Set all income into buying one navy force, as many armies as possible and deploy any spare placed into industry. China must bring down the invaders!

Set 2/3 of Chinese armies to attack! Set the rest to defence baring one which will attempt to make one peaceful claim in a random area as a means of ensuring our security.

The California Republic expresses severe disapproval of the actions occurring in China. A formal declaration of war is the only honorable course to battle. However, we shall not take steps to assist our trading partner.

The California Republic recognizes the claims of One Vision, notable Australia. We reinforce our recognition of the proposed division of the numerous island chains in the region, and hope that One Vision chooses to recognize the moderate path as well.

The California Republic reminds the Confederate States of America of our accepted division, so as to prevent a conflict of claims.

Expand into the Pink Areas. Use the Navy for the islands (south-eastern ones) and armies for land, of course. In addition to my five current armies, I am also using 3 new armies for expansion. Don't forget the Canadian territory, which is only partially included on my cropped map. I am, after all, claiming that entire province.

107 SFRM Dollars
-30, 3 armies constructed
-52 into infrastructure
That leaves 25 gold in the bank. As such, that should lower my inflation back to 0, no?

This also puts me at at least 30 territories, allowing me to have a third major city. I choose Seattle, which is the north-western territory which is partially a peninsula. You know where it is ;)

A question: I banked 5 SFRM Dollars last turn. Was this spent lowering inflation (whose nature I am curious of) or did you forget to include it? If it was spent, fine; if it was banked, I ask you to fix the stats and leave it there.

As for that inflation; it appears I have missed something. Where is it coming from? Is it from my growth being above the global average? Thanks.

EDIT: If the effect stays the same about lowering inflation, I will have that 30 stored SFRM dollars go from a vault to the global bank, where I can actually earn interest.

They consider the Bulgarians and Greeks to be "brother" states as successors to Bosconia (if they admit it or not), and wish no conflict with them.

We welcome Italy.

Orders:

2/3 of income into Industry.
1/3 of income into Armies.
Anything that remains is banked.
Claim as much of the Holy Land as i can.
Offer trade to all NPC's.

Sorry about that; I'll fix that when I add the Horbite Empire

Yes.

Gran Colombia

Total Armies: 15
Total Navies: 1

Expand to the yellow territories on below map:

After this update, I should have enough territories for two additional major cities. They should be:

- Caracas
- San Jose (Costa Rica)

To: The California Republic;
Confederate States of America;
The People’s Democratic Social Republic of Takrur

From: Gran Colombia

Gran Colombia would like to invite the Trade Secretaries from each of your nations to Bogota for a conference to discuss the establishment of open and free trade agreements between our nations. While unilateral trade agreements between our nations are desirable by Colombia, we would like to explore the idea of a wider agreement between our nations to ensure the free flow of goods across the western hemisphere.

OOC: I'm on my phone, so I'll keep this short. California welcomes new trading partners, especially if you recognize the Confederates' right to northern Mexico as per our treaty.

I don't believe your "accepted division" has been made public, so it is hard for me to recognize something I have not seen, nor have had any input on.

As it stands, I have no problem with the CSA being in northern Mexico, but so far his only claim in the region is much farther south. A claim I must note that was made primarily to counter Colombian influence in the area.

Two things:

1. For some reason, even though I went through the thread again, I missed that!
2. This doesn’t show the southern reaches of your claims. Allow me to propose an alternative solution that I believe all three nations in the Americas can agree to. This leaves both of us with about the same number of provinces:
Spoiler Colombian proposal for division of provinces in the Americas :

scaled.php

Hmm.

Although I accept your proposal, I would like to point out that you will also get all of South America. Did you consider this in your statement about an equal division of provinces? I would rather not have a superpower a province away.

Indeed. I did not take into consideration the continents, but the overall number of provinces the division would entail, including me having all of South America.

And a friendly super power a province away is much better than an unfriendly one. ;)

Alas, the Falklands are not on this map.

I will agree to the 4 provinces in Cuba being part of the CSA.

Now that we have that settled – would California and the CSA be interested in a free trade agreement? What about an overall trade agreement for the Americas?

Very well. I proprose AFTA. The American Free Trade Agreement. Instead of the US/Canada/Mexico NAFTA, we shall have free trade between CR/CSA/Columbia.

I also propose an NAP amendment to the agreement.

I guess I should verify: do I get to act on turn 3?

Yes, you will.

Edit: Stats & Map corrected for errors; Bosco added.

I am fine with an NAP between the three of us as well.

Horb builds three armies which are loaded onto the navy and capture the three island territories in red. The four other armies capture the four territories in red to the east.

This leaves 59 income. My GDP is slightly less than 500 and my industry is in the bottom 25%, so to raise it .01% costs me 5 income. I raise my industry .1%, leaving 9 income left over.

Please let me know if any of this is wrong and needs to be changed.

Additionally, Horb extends an offer of non-aggression to Bulgaria and Hellas.
