Iron and Blood 3: Rapidfire - Sign-up thread

ANNOUNCEMENT: Roma del Sur is now Roma Australium Terras. This is primarily because I now have access to Google Translator and don't have to rely on my knowledge of Spanish to guess at Latin. I've edited my original post to reflect this change

EDIT: I just re-checked the first page map. Is the Eastern Seaboard now open? If it is, I'm moving to Midwest, Virginia, and Dixie. Is that ok kiwitt? Everything else remains the same about my nation.

The Chinese have as much, if not more, right to Kashmir and Himalaya, and arguably Awadh and Bengal as any Indian, let alone South Indians. Your so-called republic shall find that this imperialism will not meet with cordial hands in either the Chinese or the international community. Does the South Indian government think it even remotely reasonable that another nation's territory lies so close to our capital?

Then why did you not proclaim your projected sovereignty over those regions in such dire need of your help? Nay; those Indians shall be part of the greater Indian nation, not subjects to a tyrannical foreign dictator. New Pretoria and all its magistrates and senators have grand plans for their new-found people.

Question: I am thinking of removing the expansion rules.
Expansion
You can buy a neighbouring province (neutral or player) with the chance as follows;

Neutral Provinces
Less than 1 IC per factory = 1% chance
1 IC spent per factory = 25% chance
2 IC spent per factory = 50% chance
3 IC spent per factory = 75% chance
4 IC or over spent per factory = 99% chance

Player Provinces (excluding capital)
Less than 2 IC per factory = 1% chance
2 IC spent per factory = 25% chance
4 IC spent per factory = 50% chance
6 IC spent per factory = 75% chance
8 IC or over spent per factory = 99% chance
NOTE: Player capitals must be invaded

Win or Lose, 50% of the money spent on expansion will be spent on new factories in target province, up to the maximum of 9 factories. Additional IC spent is lost.

To expand in a province over sea you must have a fleet in each sea region between your province and the expansion target.
Which will make the game simpler still and only combat is the way.

So leave them in or not ?
YES: SamSniped
Neutral only stays: hoplitejoe, MaxaTheGreat, madtemplar0
NO:

I would remove the Player territory expansion but keep the other.

Yes to the above idea. No purchasing player provinces!

As I said rules subject to change prior to start.

We are the true Romans. We took the Empire from Constantine the Great. And you are slaves. The spanish are Roman slaves, heretical spanish barbarian slaves.
Constantine the Barbarian was not the last Emperor of Rome. Romulus Augustus was the last to reside in the First Rome (now innundated with barbarian filth), AND HE FLED TO NOVA ROMA, SPQRH. Not your barbarian Greek city.

Yes to the above idea. No purchasing player provinces!
Or at least give the player one turn of grace where they can overturn the investment by spending even more, or building more factories to make the other buyer's offer illegitimate.

But if that doesnt happen, then only remove the purchase player provinces thing.

I think removing the player province expansion is the best compromise.

DONE !!!
