AI Castille chilled this turn, not doing much of anything except sending out missionaries and quelling revolts. Infamy reduced slowly, but remained at 19 when all was said and done.
England annexed Scotland, and became the English Empire. Essex opened a center of trade, bringing English trade to its own shores rather than Antwerpen. Internationally, however, England's turn was quiet, as infamy remained quite high.
Burgundy rejoined as a human for the first time in three decades, and secured Osnabruck and the vassalization of Brunswick. Burgundy also gained a PU with Mantua, although Mantua is surrounded by Austria. Burgundy still retains lower infamy than any of the other western powers.
The Ottomans annexed Karaman this session, leaving Ramazan as the only minor Turkish state. Conquest of Constantinople was planned, but Sultan Seyfettin died shortly before a decision was made about when to strike, leaving a regency. As such, Byzantium survived longer than they did historically, and still survives. Thus, much of the Ottoman turn was spent improving internal happiness. Late in the session, the Horde invaded (again), and the Ottomans are currently invading Horde lands, while anticipating a counter-invasion.
Austria became Emperor early in the session, and used the Imperial Ban casus belli effectively, securing as vassals Genoa, Milan, Venice, and Naples. However, late in the session Austria's king died, and Bohemia re-secured the throne, with Austria having accumulated a fair amount of infamy. Currently, Austria remains in one war of the Emperorship, with Aragon and Denmark as the primary foes.
Also noteworthy is Mazovia's continued awesomeness.
