And these would be perfect for the splash screen!:

The medieval buildings would be anachronistic, though.

awesome!

my opinion on killmeplease suggestions:
Sanctuary of Truth
Maybe 5-8 gold per wonder? You shouldn't forget that you will also have a market, bank and stock exchange in this city. On the other hand if globalization is required it should have a definitive impact on the game, thus 5 gold would be extreme few...
And from the wiki-article I'm not sure whether the static boost should be culture or faith...
i think gold output should be substantionally high, as it is a late wonder and i think it sould help tall empires. Fully explored Tradition policy tree may be a prerequisite to build this wonder.
Faith is useless in the late game, and it seems culture suits more, as this building isnt used as a temple afaik.

The Pantheon(I first got mixed up with The Parthenon)
I'm not sure whether to give a certain fraction of the unit strength as Golden Age points - like Aztecs gain culture by their special ability - or as you suggested a static amount.
giving a fraction of unit strangth as GA points will keep this wonder strong at late game. While the other option lets its influence weaken in far away future.
But no matter what; this idea of a wonder is sublime ^^
 oh thanks
i think static effect is ok otherwise it would be overpowered.
and it corresponds with history well, as glory of legions gradually faded.

p.s. i think 10 is quite small.. maybe it should be 15-20, or scale with the map size..

The first image should be alright. The only things that immediately seem anachronistic are the lantern holding guy and some of the windows in the background.

Thank the artists for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. There's also a brilliant painting of the Castillo Sant'Angelo.

A bonus based on unit strength would be more interesting IMO. Remember that GA costs rise in any case.

Okay, wow. How did I not know about these paintings? Sukritact, when you can do icons again go for those, they're awesome. And Anarchronisms aren't something I worry about normally, I've got a lamp post in Haji Ali Dargah's splash.

suki, you have some wonders of your own, are they getting updated as well?

I assume you're talking to me (Suki means hot pot in Thai :D). They'll get updated eventually, but I'm focusing on making icons for Putmalk at the moment.

:D I forgot about that! Sure, I'll work on this when my laptop is finally fixed (insurance doesn't want to cover the trackpad! Not sure what will happen next).

LOL, sorry about that sukitract but i do enjoy steamboat from COCA haha.

For info, I will start updating Ambrox's wonders (Ancient, Classical, and Medieval) in about 3 weeks, because I don't have access to my modding computer until then.

By the way, I like very much the pic posted by sukritact for the Pantheon, and the one posted for the Sanctuary of Truth.

Gate of the Sun

The Gate of the Sun is a megalithic stone gateway located in the highlands of Bolivia, near Lake Titicaca. It was constructed by the Tiwanaku culture of the Andes approximately 1500 years ago, and is carved from a single stone block weighing approximately 9 tonnes. Depicted on the gate are figures of humans and condors centered around a divine figure, the identity of which is subject to dispute, with some scholars believing him to be Viracocha, the Incan creator god, while others believe it to be a Sun deity, such as the Incan Inti. Ingame, the Gate of the Sun provides +1 :c5gold: Gold and +1 :c5faith: Faith from walls, while it requires Mathematics. The Gate of the Sun can be downloaded from Steam Workshop or from the CivFanatics Download Database, page here

Perfect i have time to play today hopefuly i can build it before my enemies can do it.

Cheers Gilgamesch!

This is my last wonder for a while, since I'm off to Japan early tomorrow morning. I was hoping to release a couple more wonders as well, but unfortunately preparations came in the way. But, I have something special for you when I get back, and I'm going to let you know what it is now for those of you who haven't seen it on my front page. It's a Diwali wonder pack. That's all I'm going to say, but I'd love to see your guesses!

Maybe an obvious one, but have you considered creating a Parthenon Wonder?

Aussie.

Hi Suricat.

Gate of the Sun wonder seems like a fun addition that I'm gonna try out. Looking at the files however I noticed that it has the flavor tags FLAVOR_CULTURE and FLAVOR_WONDER. Perhaps the former should be FLAVOR_RELIGION instead as it produces faith and not culture?

How do you make all these amazing graphics that go with these wonders? Some of them are just unbelievable. They look like they were made by the game designers!

We'll have to wait for Pouakai. I don't have access to the OP or his uploads. Thanks for bringing this up though.

:D, I use Photoshop, the pen and brush tools and a LOT of layers and clipping masks (seriously, the PSD files are complete messes....)

Pouakai is responsible for the Splash screens though. I think he uses Photoshop and one of the filters from pixelbender.
