Empires of Asia:

What is this? An IOT based on RP. No Armies, no hard stats, no economy. Just RP. I wanted something that would not take me too much time to update.

Joining:

To Join, just claim 1 province. Also post leader and other things like that. Be realistic. We start at 3000 BC (Three thousand years before Christ).

Turns:

Each turn will be 100 years.

Colonizing:

In order to take over new territories, you have to colonize them. You have 20% chance of success. The more strong you are (see below), the more chances you have to succeed. RP will increase your chances to expand. Example: You write an RP about the people preparing to go to the new land, what they face and other things like that and you will have as much as 10% extra chances to succeed.

You can colonize up to 3 territories each turn.

Religion:

At the start, you create your own religion. You can RP about this new Religion and tell us more about it. Be realistic however. It is 3000 BC.

the RL religions will come later. Once they come, you can convert to them, but there is a chance that your people may become angry (depend on RP)

War:

Since there are no armies, how will you fight wars?

The answer: You will RP wars. You will PM me with a plan. (for example: Divide my army in x teams then attack x province of x Nation. Once I take it over free all slaves to join my army and impale all x citizens)

Posting a map with the movement of your army, will give you more chances to succeed. In the end, I use RNG (from 1 to 100) and your plans and your RP and I decide who will win.

Also you Rank will give you more chances to win. For example, a huge Chinese Empire will have more RNG chances to win the war than a small Mongolian Khanate.

Rank:

Each Nation has a Rank. Rank is determinated by War and Territories. The more territories and Military victories you have, the stronger you are.

Very Weak: No Bonus
Weak: + 5% more chances in colonization
Medioum: +10% more chances in colonization
Strong: + 15% more chances in colonization
Very Strong: + 20% more chances in colonization, + 5% more chances in War
Strong Empire: + 25% more chances in colonization, + 10% more chances in War
World-Shaking Empire: + 230% more chances in colonization, + 15% more chances in War

History:
Emperor Ran Meng'shi was not native to the land of Nippon, called by westerners Japan, he was born in the land of Hanguk, called Korea by the westerners. Meng'shi was a very intelligent young boy who showed ample leadership skills, however he had some radical ideas of how a government should be run. Due to these ideas his people exiled him and his followers out to sea, they landed in a new land and named it Nippon. However everything there was not perfect for them as they had hoped, the people who had lived there originality were very violent and were constantly warring with the other clans. Meng'shi took it upon him to unite these peoples and with many struggles he had succeeded uniting the clans under a treaty of friendship and cooperation. However this new nation feared of falling back into constant warfare and needed a leader, the leaders of the individual clans could not decide which of them should become leader, however one of the followers of Ran Meng'shi proposed the idea of the clan leaders electing an Emperor over them. The clan leaders agreed and in a unanimous vote Ran Meng'shi was elected the first Emperor of the Ran Dynasty. With the Unification of the tribes the Ran Dynasty quickly adopted native Culture and mixed it with their own culture from Hanguk.

I did not had time for the EoJ. That's why I created this. If 4 more palyers join, I will start the game.

@JamesCaesar

The Mon is a Japanese Emblem/symbol so unless you want some sort of Japanese like culture in your Korea I would probably replace that with family emblem/symbol, Just FYI.

If 2 more players join, I will start the game.

Krzowwh , please post a map with your claim.

If this would have more rules about military and such (me need moar unitz) I will join, but I have the sense that nobody will care.

History: On the island now known as Shikoku, there once lived four clans, who each controlled a small amount of territory. Tosa no Masato was once the head of one of these clans, in particular, the Tosa Clan, the Servants of Earth. Sick of the eternal warring between the four clans, Masato set himself upon a goal that seemed impossible at the time: unite the four great clans of the island. The Iyo to the north-west joined willingly, as did the Awa to the north-east. However, the northern Majestic Folk, the supposedly divine people of the Sanuki Clan, who controlled the gateway from the island to the northern mainland, would not give up their independance without a fight. And such, a large army, with men from all of the three other clans, broke their weapons upon the heads and gates of the Sanuki men and cities. Within a year, the island was united. As the newly crowned king of their island, head of the Four Clans, Tosa no Masato founded the Kawatsune Dynasty, and became Kawatsune no Masato. The Kawatsune Dynasty would eventually become a dynasty to last for ages, ruling over the lands of Shikoku, or the Four Provinces, now the name of their proud island.

EDIT: Oh, the map is currently wrong, as two of the "provinces" north of Shikoku should be sea instead of land.

EDIT2: Here.

@ Bair_the_Normal Ooo, some competition for the Island of Japan, this is going to be interesting :D.

OOC: I get Kyushu, Shikoku, and Honshu up to Kansai. You get Honshu from Kansai up and Hokkaido. :P :D It's a deal, peace, all that jazz.

I fail to understand how at 3000 BC, some kingdoms already have Theorcracy, Monarchy, Feudalism etc. I guess the Civ esque implications are not valid ?

@bonefang hey the germanic peoples elected their leaders which later became the elective monarchy of the holy roman empire, and a monarchy is any government where the power is left in one person called a monarch, a theocracy is any government run by religion, and Feudalism is a government where nobles pledge allegiance to other nobles that they consider higher up, in effect none of these governments are very complex and a very simple version of all of these could in effect exist in 3000 BC, and technically any government could be plausible at any time, some one just needs to think it up and implement it, heck even some of the most advanced and complex governments could be represented in some way, communism is just a bunch of people giving up all their stuff so one man can distributed it evenly and everyone working together for the good of the whole, A republic is where the people elect their leader, in effect any modern government could exist at any time, would it be as complex, no, would they have a constitution, spoken possibly but written defiantly not. There is no reason why an "advanced" government could exist in 3000 BC, a government is a government.

and honestly i have the most advanced government up there, a monarchy where the monarch is elected by the nobles! its unheard of! except for all the examples in history like the Holy Roman Empire. Heck my government could also be considered a Feudal society because of the clans that pledge allegiance to their elected monarch. I even consider all modern governments to contain at lest some form of a Feudal Government, as each of the nations are divided into smaller pieces each with their own leaders.

enough of my endless rant lets get back to the game.
